TINJAUAN PROSES PONDING KEMASAN X BERBAHAN DUPLEX DI PT PRIMA HONEYCOMB INTERNASIONAL

Ponding is the process of cutting printouts according to the layout based on the
dummy that has been given by the customer, using a pond knife. Knowing the type
and number of rejects on the ponding results. Knowing how to overcome the types
of rejects on the ponding results. The method the author uses is observation and
pouring it into histgoram, fishbone, and pareto diagrams. In addition, interviews
and reference searches through books, journals, and articles. The result of this final
project is that the highest type of reject is found in unbroken ponding with a
percentage of 0.09%, based on the pareto principle 80% of reject types include
unbroken ponding and running ponding. So it is necessary to reduce rejects by 20%
of the current reject percentage. Unbroken ponding from 0.09% to 0.072% and
running ponding from 0.08% to 0.04%.

Ponding merupakan proses pemotongan hasil cetak sesuai dengan layout
bedasarkan dummy yang telah diberikan oleh costumer, dengan menggunakanan
pisau pond. Mengetahui jenis dan jumlah reject pada Hasil ponding. Mengetahui
cara menanggulangi dari jenis-jenis reject pada hasil ponding. Metode yang penulis
gunakan berupa observasi dan menuangkannya kedalam diagram histgoram,
fishbone, dan pareto. Selain itu wawancara dan pencarian referensi melalui buku,
jurnal, serta artikel. Hasil dari Tugas akhir ini adalah jenis reject tertinggi terdapat
pada ponding tidak putus dengan persentase 0,09%, Bedasarkan prinsip pareto 80%
jenis reject mencakup ponding tidak putus dan ponding lari. Sehingga perlu
dilakukannya penurunan reject sebesar 20% dari persentase reject saat ini. Ponding
tidak putus dari 0,09% menjadi 0,072% dan pada ponding lari dari 0,08% menjadi
0,04%.
