IDENTIFIKASI CACAT PRODUK KEMASAN ROKOK PADA PROSES CETAK OFFSET DI PT WAHYU ANUGRAH INTERNASIONAL

Kemasan rokok umumnya terbuat dari kemasan kertas karton. Salah satu fungsi kemasan adalah sebagai pelindung produk dari faktor kerusakan, baik itu disebabkan oleh faktor biologi (bakteri dan jamur), fisika (gesekan, benturan dan getaran) maupun kimia (sinar uv). PT Wahyu Anugrah Internasional adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang percetakan kemasan, salah satu kemasan yang dihasilkan adalah kemasan rokok. Cacat produk merupakan produk yang dihasilkan dalam proses produksi, dimana produk yang dihasilkan tersebut tidak sesuai dengan standar mutu yang di tetapkan suatu perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis cacat cacat produk kemasan rokok, penyebab terjadinya cacat pada kemasan rokok dan solusi untuk mengatasi pemasalahan cacat pada kemasan rokok. Pada penulisan ini penulis menggunakan salah satu metode seven tools yaitu metode check sheet untuk mengetahui jumlah jenis cacat produk yang terjadi pada mesin Speedmaster CD 102-5 Color LYLX + UV Hybrid.. Berdasarkan temuan penulis dilapangan, ditemukan bahwa jumlah cacat warna 1309 (50,35%), cacat baret 248 (9,54%), cacat mata ayam 649 (24,95%) dan cacat kotor 394 (15,15%). Berdasarkan data tersebut diketahui bahwa jenis cacat produk yang sering terjadi adalah cacat warna dan faktor yang paling dominan dalam menyebabkan cacat produk adalah faktor mesin (machine) .

Cigarette packaging is generally made of cardboard packaging. One of the functions of packaging is as a protector of products from damage factors, whether it is caused by biological factors (bacteria and fungi), physics (friction, impact and vibration) and chemical (UV light). PT Wahyu Anugrah Internasional is a company engaged in packaging printing, one of the packaging produced is cigarette packaging. Product defects are products produced in the production process, where the resulting products are not in accordance with the quality standards set by a company. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of defective defects in cigarette packaging products, the causes of defects in cigarette packaging and solutions to overcome the problem of defects in cigarette packaging. In this writing, the author uses one of the seven tools method, namely the check sheet method to determine the number of types of product defects that occur in the Speedmaster CD 102-5 Color LYLX + UV Hybrid machine. Based on the findings of the author in the field, it was found that the number of color defects was 1309 (50.35%), beret defects 248 (9.54%), chicken eye defects 649 (24.95%) and gross defects 394 (15.15%). Based on these data, it is known that the type of product defect that often occurs is color defect and the most dominant factor in causing product defects is the machine factor.
