TAHAPAN PROSES PRODUKSI BUKU PELAJARAN SENI BUDAYA KELAS V DI PT GELORA AKSARA PRATAMA

ABSTRACK
The production process has a strong influence on the final result of a printing product. The stages or flow of the printing work process have their respective roles and are equally important, starting from the typesetting process to binding. The purpose of writing this final project is to find out the stages of the production process of Class V Cultural Arts textbooks at PT Gelora Aksara Pratama, the problems that occur during the manufacturing process and the solutions. The methods used are observation, interviews and literature study. In the manufacturing process, problems were found, including delays in the production process due to lack of circulation, other jobs being hampered due to urgent jobs, and machine damage in the production process. The way to overcome these problems is by reporting to the PPIC section, carrying out routine checks on the machine, and planning ahead.

ABSTRAK

Proses produksi memiliki pengaruh yang kuat atas hasil akhir dari suatu produk percetakan. Tahapan atau alur proses kerja percetakan mempunyai peran masing-masing dan sama pentingnya, mulai dari proses typesetting hingga penjilidan. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan proses produksi buku pelajaran Seni Budaya Kelas V di PT Gelora Aksara Pratama, permasalahan yang terjadi selama proses pembuatan dan solusinya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Pada proses pembuatannya ditemukan permasalahan yang terjadi diantaranya yaitu terhambatnya proses produksi karena kurangnya oplah, terdapatnya job lain yang terhambat karena adanya job urgent, dan terjadinya kerusakan mesin pada proses produksi. Cara mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan melapor ke bagian PPIC, melakukan pengecekan rutin terhadap mesin, dan membuat perencanaan lebih awal.
