“Gaul Talk Story”

In this program the author makes a radio program live sequence "Gaul Talk Story". Discusses the other side of the lifestyle of Generation Z in the city of Semarang. This program targets generation Z listeners, where generation Z radio listeners are very selective in listening to the radio. The author also found several errors in radio broadcasts, namely the incompatibility of message delivery with the listening audience segmentation. In this case, of course, related to the form of program packaging. Such as how to determine the broadcast material, choose the audio music, implement the mixing technique and, worst of all, there are technical aspects that are not given enough attention, such as the uneven quality of the audio volume. Therefore, the writer as a production person and mixing man is in charge of determining broadcast material, maintaining audio quality and operating mixing techniques according to segmentation to be applied to live sequence radio programs. The author will also explain how the work system will be created in making works starting from the pre-production, production, to post-production stages. It can be concluded that this final assignment is a new thing in the live sequence radio program at the State Polytechnic of Creative Media Jakarta.

Pada program ini penulis membuat program Radio live sequence “Gaul Talk Story”. Membahas seputar sisi lain gaya hidup generasi Z dikota Semarang. Program ini memiliki target pendengar generasi Z yang dimana pendengar radio generasi Z ini sangat selektif dalam mendengarkan radio. Penulis juga menemukan beberapa kesalahan pada siaran radio yaitu adanya ketidaksesuaian penyampaian pesan dengan segmentasi audience yang mendengarkan. Dalam hal ini tentunya berhubungan dengan bentuk kemasan program. Seperti bagaimana penentuan materi siarannya, pemilihan audio musiknya, implementasi teknik mixing. Penulis menemukan aspek-aspek teknis yang kurang diperhatikan seperti kualitas volume audio yang tidak rata. Maka dari itu penulis sebagai production person dan mixingman bertugas untuk menentukan bahan materi siaran, menjaga kualitas audio dan mengoperasikan teknik mixing sesuai segmentasi untuk diterapkan ke dalam program Radio live sequence. Penulis juga akan menjelaskan bagaimana sistem kerja yang akan dibuat dalam pembuatan karya mulai dari tahap pra produksi, produksi, hingga pasca produksi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa, tugas akhir ini adalah sebuah hal yang baru dalam program radio live sequence di Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif Jakarta.
