PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM PROGRAM DOKUMENTER TELEVISI PEREMPUAN: KULI PANGGUL PASAR

The writer and the team made the first episode of the tv program "Perempuan : Kuli Panggul Pasar" to be the work of this final project. This episode tells about the portrait of Grandma Ajum who works as a porter for the women's market at Pasar Senen. The purpose of this final project is to find out the role of the program director in designing a hybrid documentary concept and applying it to the “Women” documentary program. The literature review used in the creation of this work is the theory of portrait documentaries in a hybrid style and the role and duties of a program director. In this paper, the author uses observational research methods, literature studies and interviews. The workflow carried out by the author from preparation, implementation to evaluation is in accordance with the literature review. Some of the problems encountered have been faced by the author. So that the writer is able to manage the production process of the documentary program “Perempuan : Kuli Panggul Pasar”.

Penulis dan tim menjadikan episode pertama program tv “Perempuan : Kuli Panggul Pasar” untuk dijadikan karya tugas akhir ini. Episode ini menceritakan tentang potret Nenek Ajum yang bekerja sebagai kuli panggul pasar perempuan di Pasar Senen. Tujuan dari karya tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran program director dalam merancang konsep dokumenter hybrid dan menerapkan pada program dokumenter “Perempuan”. Tinjauan pustaka yang digunakan dalam pembuatan karya ini adalah teori mengenai dokumenter potret dengan gaya hybrid dan peran serta tugas sebagai program director. Dalam karya tulis ini, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian observasi, studi pustaka dan wawancara. Alur kerja yang dilakukan penulis mulai dari persiapan, pelaksanaan hingga evaluasi sudah sesuai dengan tinjauan pustaka. Beberapa masalah yang dihadapi telah dihadapi oleh penulis. Sehingga penulis mampu mengatur proses produksi program dokumenter “Perempuan : Kuli Panggul Pasar”.
