PENYUNTINGAN NASKAH NOVELET "HUJAN YANG SENDU"

The novelette script “Hujan yang Sendu” is the final project that the author and the team produced. This novelette script has the theme of Friendship. Where the character is trapped in a toxic friendship environment. Based on the creation of the work, the objectives of writing this final project are (1) To explain the editing of the novelette script “Hujan yang Sendu”. (2) To present the editing of the novelette script “Hujan yang Sendu”. For this purpose, the author uses the theories of Pamusuk Eneste (2017) and Bambang Trim (2019). The author uses descriptive method with literature study and questionnaire data collection techniques. In the discussion, the editing of the novelette script “Hujan yang Sendu” is done in three stages. The three stages are pre-editing, editing, and post-editing. In the pre-editing stage, the writer reads the entire manuscript and checks the completeness of the manuscript. Then, at the editing stage, the writer begins to correct the script based on the theory applied. Starting from spelling, word choice, and grammar. In the post-editing stage, the writer conducts a proofreading stage, which is the process of re-reading the manuscript before it goes to print. In conclusion, by applying the editing theory, the writer can produce writing that is in accordance with the application of good and correct theory.

Naskah novelet “Hujan yang Sendu” merupakan karya tugas akhir yang peulis dan tim hasilkan. Naskah novelet ini bertemakan tentang Friendship. Dimana sang tokoh yang terjebak dalam lingkungan pertemanan yang toxic. Berdasarkan pembuatan karya tesebut, tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah (1) Untuk menjelaskan penyuntingan naskah novelet “Hujan yang Sendu”. (2) Untuk menyajikan penyuntingan naskah novelet “Hujan yang Sendu”. Untuk itu, penulis menggunakan teori Pamusuk Eneste (2017) dan Bambang Trim (2019). Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan data studi pustaka dan kuesioner. Pada pembahasannya, penyuntingan naskah novelet “Hujan yang Sendu” dilakukan dengan tiga tahap. Ketiga tahap tersebut adalah pra penyuntingan, penyuntingan, dan pasca penyuntingan. Pada tahap pra penyuntinga, penulis membaca keseluruhan naskah dan mengecek kelengkapan naskah. Lalu, pada tahap penyuntingan, penulis mulai mengoreksi naskah berdasarkan teori yang diterapkan. Mulai dari ejaan, pemilihan kata, dan tata bahasa. Pada tahap pasca penyuntingan, penulis melakukan tahap baca pruf, yaitu proses membaca kembali naskah tersebut sebelum naik cetak. Simpulannya, dengan menerapkan teori penyuntingan tersebut, penulis dapat menghasilkan tulisan yang sesuai dengan penerapan teori yang baik dan benar.
