PERAN PENATA KAMERA DALAM PEMILIHAN TYPE OF SHOT SAAT WAWANCARA PADA PROGRAM FEATURE TELEVISI "SEMUA BISA SEHAT EPISODE TERAPI API"

Television is a means of audio-visual communication with various types of programs. The author chooses the type of feature program which is an informative show or included in a non-drama program. In this final project, the author discusses how a camera stylist in making a television program with a feature program format called "All Can Be Healthy" episode "Fire Therapy". A camera stylist is not only able to produce good images, but a camera stylist must understand what motivations and information are needed to fulfill the needs of the image" (Kusumawati, Haryo, & Artanto, 2015). So this feature work was made to provide a more informative show in terms of shooting. The camera stylist designs the pre-production shots in detail and applies them during production, also sorting out the best results during post-production to match the predetermined results. This writing uses descriptive methods by means of observation, interviews, research, and literature studies relevant to the program to be created. From this discussion, it can be concluded that a camera stylist has an important role, where a camera stylist holds full responsibility for the shooting of each television program.

Televisi merupakan sarana komunikasi yang berbentuk audio-visual dengan berbagai jenis program. Penulis memilih jenis program feature yang merupakan sebuah tayangan informatif atau termasuk dalam program nondrama. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis membahas mengenai bagaimana seorang penata kamera dalam pembuatan program televisi dengan format program feature yang bernama “Semua Bisa Sehat” episode “Terapi Api”. Penata kamera tidak hanya dapat menghasilkan gambar yang baik, tapi seorang penata kamera harus memahami motivasi dan informasi apa saja yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gambar” (Kusumawati, Haryo, & Artanto, 2015). Maka karya feature ini dibuat untuk memberikan tayangan yang lebih informatif dari segi pengambilan gambar. Penata kamera merancang pengambilan gambar pada pra produksi secara detail dan menerapkannya saat produksi, juga memilah hasil yang terbaik pada saat pasca produksi agar sesuai dengan hasil yang sudah ditentukan. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan cara observasi, wawancara, riset, dan studi pustaka yang relevan dengan program yang akan dibuat. Dari pembahasan ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa seorang penata kamera memiliki peran yang penting, dimana seorang penata kamera memegang tanggung jawab penuh terhadap pengambilan gambar pada setiap program televisi.
