Abstract

From the results of experience or Field Work Practices at Vertu and Yello Harmoni
Hotels, there are several problems with making payments to each vendor or
supplier, in terms of equipment supporting documents that are hampered or bill
amounts that don’t match between account payable and supplier. So based on this
background, the researcher is interested in making observations with the title
“Analysis of Unit Account Payable Performance at Vertu an Yello Harmoni Hotel”.
This study uses qualitative descriptive research data collection method, namely a
research method in which the data is data and events or events that occur according
to actual events. Researches have a goal in conducting this research, namely to
determine the performance of account payable. The data obtained is in the form
data regarding the performance of the account payable unit. And how to overcome
that obstacles that occur at Vertu and Yello Harmoni Hotels finds that an account
payable must have a high level of time discipline and work accuracy, this is to help
account payable performance for hotel. So as not to cause other negative impacts.
The results is getting good response from the hotel if an account payable has good
performance.

Dari hasil pengalaman atau Praktik Kerja Lapangan di Hotel Vertu dan Yello
Harmoni, terdapat beberapa masalah tentang melakukan pembayaran terhadap
setiap vendor atau supplier, dari segi perlengkapan dokumen pendukung yang
terhambat ataupun jumlah tagihan yang tidak sesuai antar account payable dan
supplier. Maka berdasarkan latar belakang, maka peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan
pengamatan dengan judul “Analisis Kinerja Unit Account Payable di Hotel Vertu
dan Yello Harmoni”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan data
penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu metode penelitian yang mana data tersebut
merupakan data dan kejadian atau peristiwa yang terjadi sesuai kejadian yang
sebenarnya. Peneliti mempunyai tujuan dalam melakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk
mengetahui kinerja Account Payable di Hotel Vertu dan Yello Harmoni. Data yang
diperoleh berupa data mengenai kinerja unit account payable, dan cara mengatasi
kendala yang terjadi di Hotel Vertu dan Yello Harmoni mendapatkan bahwa
seoarang account payable harus memiliki tingkat kedisiplinan waktu dan ketelitian
kerja yang tinggi, hal ini guna membantu kinerja account payable terhadap Hotel.
Sehingga tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif yang lain. Hasilnya mendapatkan
respon baik dari pihak hotel apabila seorang account payable memiliki kinerja yang
baik.
