Peran Penata Kamera pada Program Turn On Your Way

The variety show program is an entertainment program in which, in general, in one variety show program there are several concepts for other program formats. The writer together with the team will make a TV variety show program entitled "Turn On Your Way" which discusses the genre and profession of music. This writing aims to understand the work role of a camera stylist, as well as to apply learning material while in college. The data collection technique for this program was library research, where the authors and the team looked for information about variety show programs, music, and camera control. Questionnaire, the authors and the team sought information by creating a questionnaire to determine the SES, broadcast time, and the genre of music that is often listened to. The role of the writer in the production of the variety show program "Turn On Your Way" is as a cameraman. A cameraman has a duty and an important role in taking pictures on television programs. A cameraman is also able to understand all aspects related to shooting, how the shot angle is, camera movement and so on. Sarwo Nugroho (2014; 102) The cameraman is the right hand of the director. Therefore, the cameraman must have a strong internal relationship with the event director so that the event director's artistic value is easily understood. The author must understand more about visual techniques on the camera such as image composition, camera movement, and good lighting arrangements.

Program variety show merupakan program hiburan yang pada umumnya dalam satu program variety show terdapat beberapa konsep format program lain. Penulis bersama dengan tim akan membuat program TV variety show dengan judul “Turn On Your Way” yang membahas seputar genre dan profesi musik. Penulisam ini bertujuan untuk memahami peran kerja seorang penata kamera, serta untuk menerapkan materi pembelajaran selama berada di bangku kuliah. Teknik pengumpulan data pada program ini ialah studi Pustaka, penulis bersama tim mencari informasi mengenai program variety show, musik, dan penata kamera. Kuisioner, penulis bersama tim mencari informasi dengan membuat kuisioner untuk menentukan SES, waktu tayang , serta genre musik yang sering didengarkan. Peran penulis dalam produksi program variety show “Turn On Your Way” ini sebagai seorang kameraman. Seorang kameraman memiliki tugas dan peran penting dalam mengambil gambar pada program televisi. Seorang kameraman juga mampu memahami segala aspek yang berkaitan dalam pengambilan gambar, bagaimana shot angle nya, pergerakan kamera dan lain sebagainya. Sarwo Nugroho (2014;102) Juru kamera adalah tangan kanan sutradara. Oleh karena itu, juru kamera harus memiliki hubungan internal yang kuat dengan pengarah acara agar nilai seni pengarah acara mudah dipahami. Penulis harus lebih banyak memahami teknik visual pada kamera seperti komposisi gambar, pergerakan kamera, serta penataan cahaya yang baik.
