LAPORAN TUGAS AKHIR PERAN PENATA KAMERA PROGRAM TELEVISI FEATURE “SEPINTAS MATA : PERAWAT LANSIA"

ABSTRACT
Television is a very easy medium for conveying mass information, television emits
sounds and images so that people tend to choose this medium as a medium of
inspiration. The author chose the feature program because it can provide
information to the general public about situations and aspects of life that are often
overlooked. In this final project, the author discusses how a cameraman works in
making a television program with a feature program format entitled "Sepintas
mata" episode "cereworker". Camera stylists can not only produce good images,
but camera stylists must understand what motivations and information are needed
to fulfill image needs” (Kusumawati, Haryo, & Artanto, 2015). A camera director
is someone who is in charge of recording images using video camera hardware that
is recorded via video tape, memory, hard disk or other storage media in accordance
with the direction of the director. This writing uses literature study methods,
observation methods and interview methods. As a Camera Stylist, you have an
important responsibility in composing feature programs from pre-production to
post-production to suit the predetermined results. From the discussion it can be
concluded that through this feature program, the author wants to describe an effort
to achieve its goals even though there are many shortcomings and obstacles faced.

Televisi merupakan media yang sangat mudah untuk menyampaikan infoemasi
secara massal, televisi mengeluarkan suara dan gambar sehingga masyarakat
cenderung memilih media ini sebagai media inspirasi. Penulis memilih program
feature karena dapat memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat umum tentang
situasi dan aspek kehidupan yang sering diabaikan. Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis
membahas mengenai bagaimana seorang penata kamera dalam pembuatan program
televisi dengan format program feature yang berjudul “Sepintas Mata” episode
“Perawat Lansia”. Penata kamera tidak hanya dapat menghasilkan gambar yang
baik, tapi seorang penata kamera harus memahami motivasi dan informasi apa saja
yang dibutuhkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gambar”(Kusumawati, Haryo, &
Artanto, 2015). Penata Kamera adalah seseorang yang bertugas merekam gambar
dengan menggunakan perangkat keras kamera video yang direkam melalui pita
video, memory, hard disk atau media penyimpanan lainnya sesuai dengan arahan
director. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka, metode observasi dan
metode wawancara. Sebagai Penata Kamera memiliki tanggung jawab penting
dalam mengkomposisikan program feature mulai dari pra produksi hingga pasca
produksi agar sesuai dengan hasil yang sudah ditentukan. Dari pembahasan dapat
ditarik kesimpulan melalui program feature ini, penulis ingin menggambarkan
sebuah usaha untuk mencapai tujuannya walaupun banyak kekurangan dan
rintangan yang di hadapi.
