PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM PROGRAM TELEVISI VARIETY SHOW TAPPING “TURN ON YOUR WAY”

Varietyshow television programs still get low index scores due to the lack of educational programs. In every television program, there are stages to produce it, starting from pre-production, production, to the post-production stage. In this stage, the Program Director plays a very important role starting from creating the initial concept with the producer and creative team, treatment for the entire crew and technical, to designing the visualization of the concept that has been made. In writing this final project report, the author is responsible as the Program Director for the variety show television program "Turn On Your Way" which is a music format television program with the aim of becoming a forum for talented artists who are new and are still not well known in society.

Program televisi variety show masih mendapatkan nilai indeks yang masih rendah karena kurangnya program yang mengedukasi. Dalam setiap program televisi, terdapat tahapan-tahapan untuk memproduksinya mulai dari Pra produksi, produksi, hingga ke tahap pasca produksi. Didalam tahapan tersebut, Program Director memegang peranan yang sangat penting mulai dari pembuatan konsep awal bersama produser dan tim kreatif, treatment untuk keseluruhan kru dan teknis, hingga merancang visualisasi dari konsep yang telah dibuat. Dalam penulisan laporan tugas akhir ini, penulis bertanggung jawab sebagai Program Director untuk program televisi variety show “Turn On Your Way” yang merupakan program televisi yang berformat musik dengan tujuan menjadi wadah bagi seniman-seniman berbakat yang baru dan masih kurang terkenal di masyarakat.
