PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM PROGRAM SKETSA KOMEDI “PAKEETT!!”

The background for this writing is a sketch program entitled “PAKEETT!!” can be entertainment that invites laughter in the community with the main idea of the story which is centered on the work of a courier. This program will show about the daily life of a parcel delivery courier in carrying out his profession wrapped in fresh comedy and quite related to the community.The purpose of this paper is to explain the role of a program director in the production process of the sketch program "PAKEETT !!" with all the theory and knowledge that has been obtained during lectures. The author uses a literature review from several sources that discuss comedy and the like. The analytical method used is descriptive which describes the process of making the work from scratch to completion, data collection techniques, scope, and work steps. Therefore, this article was created to create a comedy program that is a breath of fresh air that can inspire and innovate comedy drama programs at Polimedia or in Indonesia and can play the role of a program director who is fully responsible for the production process of the sketch program. Latar belakang penulisan ini adalah program acara sketsa yang berjudul “PAKEETT!!” dapat menjadi hiburan yang mengundang gelak tawa di tengah masyarakat dengan ide utama ceritanya yang berpusat pada pekerjaan seorang kurir. Program “PAKEETT!!” adalah program yang menayangkan tentang kehidupan sehari-hari seorang kurir antar paket dalam menjalankan profesinya yang dibalut dengan komedi yang segar dan cukup berhubungan dengan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penulisan ini yaitu menjelaskan peran seorang program director dalam proses produksi program acara sketsa “PAKEETT!!” dengan semua teori dan ilmu yang sudah di dapatkan selama masa perkuliahan. Penulis menggunakan tinjauan pustaka dari beberapa sumber yang membahas mengenai komedi dan sejenisnya. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif yang menjabarkan proses pembuatan karya dari nol hingga selesai, teknik pengumpulan data, ruang lingkup, serta langkah kerja. Oleh karena itu, dibuatnya tulisan ini yaitu untuk membuat sebuah program komedi yang menjadi angin segar yang dapat menginspirasi dan memberi inovasi pada program drama komedi di Polimedia ataupun di Indonesia dan dapat peran seorang program director yang bertanggung jawab penuh pada proses produksi program acara sketsa “PAKEETT!!”
