PERAN PENATA ARTISTIK PADA PROGRAM TELEVISI TALK SHOW LIVE “TALK OF THE DAY” EPISODE : FRESH GRADUATE SYNDROME

ABSTRACT
Television is the most effective mass media in disseminating information. Many viewers perceive television programs as mere entertainment, but as entertainment television programs can still be created with high added value so that they become useful entertainment for the audience. Seeing this situation, the writer and team came up with the idea to make a television show format that entertains and provides information on talk shows. The writer and the team chose the Talk show program as a television program format to realize the goal of providing solutions to young people's problems. The writing method in this work is descriptive by using three methods including: Observation, Questionnaire and Literature Study. In making a program, the jobdesk plays a very important role in making talk shows, namely an expert in spatial planning or shooting locations Suprapto (2013: 64)). Therefore the writer chose a jobdesk as Art Director because the writer wanted to give a display of creativity in the arts in the talk show TV program "Talk Of The Day" more precisely in sets and decorations as well as makeup and wardrobe. The author gives an artistic touch to the event formal like this so that the atmosphere is not too tense when in the talk area. With this the author makes this writing to find out the solution of making a backdrop with a minimalist concept that will be placed in an empty room so that it is filled.

Televisi merupakan media massa yang paling efektif dalam penyebaran informasi. Banyak penonton yang menganggap program televisi sebagai hiburan semata namun, sebagai hiburan program televisi tetap dapat diciptakan dengan nilai tambah yang tinggi sehingga menjadi hiburan yang bermanfaat bagi penonton. Melihat keadaan tersebut maka penulis dan tim membuat ide untuk membuat suatu format acara televisi yang menghibur dan memberikan informasi dalam acara talk show live. Penulis dan team memilih program talk show sebagai format program televisi untuk mewujudkan tujuan memberikan solusi atas permasalahan anak muda. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembuatan set dan dekorasi pada program televisi talk show live “Talk Of The Day” sesuai dengan tema. Metode penulisan dalam karya ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakaan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Dalam pembuatan sebuah program adapun jobdesk yang sangat berperan penting dalam pembuatan talk show yaitu seorang yang ahli dalam menata ruang atau lokasi pengambilan gambar Suprapto (2013 : 64). Penulis memilih jobdesk sebagai Penata Artistik ingin memberikan tampilan kreativitas pada bidang kesenian dalam program tv acara talk show “Talk Of The Day” lebih tepatnya pada set dan dekorasi serta makeup dan wardrobe. Penulis memberikan sentuhan kesenian pada acara yang formal seperti ini agar suasannya tidak terlalu tegang pada saat berada di area bincang bincang, dengan memberikan solusi dari pembuatan suasana ruangan yang tadinya kosong menjadi tempat yang layak untuk mengadakan sebuah produksi program talkhsow.
