PERAN PENYUNTING GAMBAR DALAM KONSEP VIDEO TAPE DAN PLAYBACK PADA PROGRAM TALK SHOW LIVE “ TALK OF THE DAY “, EPISODE: FRESH GRADUATE SYNDROME

ABSTRAK

Television is a communication system that uses signal transmission. Images and sound travel through electromagnetic waves, cable or satellite to convey information, entertainment and other content to viewers in their homes or public places. Therefore, with the presence of the "Talk Of The Day" program, which is a live talk show program, the main idea is to solve problems that are often faced by young people. This program has 13 episodes where one of the episodes discusses "Fresh Graduate Syndrome" which will be raised. Fresh Graduate Syndrome is an expression used to describe challenges or adjusting to the world of work after completing formal education. This term refers to various problems or feelings that are often experienced by new graduates during the transition from the academic world to the work environment. The purpose of this writing is to be able to find out the appropriate application of the concept of video tape and playback in the Talk Of The Day program. This writing uses a descriptive method with observational data collection and literature study. An image editor or editor is a term for a person who is responsible for cutting the images and sound produced from tape (Latief & Utud, 2015: 140). In this program the author is in charge of editing images and video playback. In making works, the author is tasked as an image editor in selecting video clips, video playback during production using Vmix software, data storage after production as an asset that is played back.

Televisi adalah suatu sistem komunikasi yang menggunakan transmini sinyal. Gambar dan suara memalui gelombang elektromagnetik, kabel, atau satelit untuk menyampaikan informasi, hiburan, dan konten lainnya kepada penonton di rumah atau tempat publik. Maka dari itu dengan hadirnya program “Talk Of The Day” yang merupakan program talk show live yang memiliki ide utama yaitu, program solusi permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh anak muda. Program ini memiliki 13 episode dimana salah satu episodenya membahas “ Fresh Graduate Syndrome” yang akan diangkat. Fresh Graduate Syndrome atau sindrom lulusan baru adalah uangkapan yang digunakan untuk mengambarkan tantangan atau menyesuaikan diri dengan dunia kerja setelah menyelesaikan Pendidikan formal. Istilah ini mengacu pada berbagai masalah atau perasaan yang sering dialami oleh lulusan baru selama transisi dari dunia akademik ke lingkungan kerja. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah agar dapat mengetahui penerapan konsep video tape dan playback yang sesuai dalam program Talk Of The Day. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data secara observasi dan studi pustaka. Editor atau penyunting gambar adalah sebutan bagi orang yang bertanggung jawab memotong gambar dan suara yang dihasilkan dari tape (Latief & Utud, 2015: 140). Pada program ini penulis bertugas menyunting gambar dan pemutaran ulang video. Pada pembuatan karya penulis bertugas sebagai penyunting gambar dalam memilih video klip, pemutaran ulang video pada saat produksi menggunakan software Vmix, penyimpanan data setelah produksi sebagai asset yang diputar ulang.
