Potret Aktivitas Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Di SLBN Bogor (Pendekatan Foto Cerita Deskriptif)

ABSTRACT
The Final Project entitled "Activities of Children with Special Needs in SLB Negeri Bogor
(Descriptive Photo Story Approach)" is a work based on the creation of photographic art
with the results in the form of descriptive photo story about the activities of children with
special needs at SLB Negeri Bogor. Education is a fundamental right for every child,
including children with special needs. However, in reality, there are still many children
with disabilities who are in the community and do not attend school as found in the author's
neighborhood. The purpose of creating this photo story is to provide information by
visualizing the activities of children with special needs in SLB Negeri Bogor with a
descriptive photo story approach to people who don’t know about it. Through qualitative
methods, literature study, observation, and interviews, the resulting photo story work
describes the activities of children with special needs at SLB Negeri Bogor. The result of
this Final Project is that the author succeeded in produces 15 photographs that describe
the activities of children with special needs in SLB Negeri Bogor in photo story with a
descriptive approach.

ABSTRAK
Karya Tugas Akhir berjudul “Aktivitas Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Di SLB Negeri Bogor
(Pendekatan Foto Cerita Deskriptif)” merupakan sebuah karya berbasis penciptaan seni
fotografi dengan hasil berupa foto cerita deskriptif mengenai aktivitas anak berkebutuhan
khusus yang berada di SLB Negeri Bogor. Pendidikan adalah hak asasi bagi setiap anak,
termasuk Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK). Namun, kenyataannya, masih banyak ABK
yang berada di dalam lingkungan masyarakat dan tidak bersekolah seperti yang ditemukan
di lingkungan penulis berada. Tujuan penciptaan karya foto cerita ini adalah untuk
memberikan informasi dengan hasil visualisasi aktivitas anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB
Negeri Bogor dengan pendekatan foto cerita deskriptif kepada masyarakat yang belum
mengetahuinya. Melalui metode kualitatif, studi pustaka, observasi, hingga wawancara,
karya foto cerita yang dihasilkan menggambarkan aktivitas anak berkebutuhan khusus di
SLB Negeri Bogor. Kesimpulan yang didapat dalam Tugas Akhir ini adalah penulis
berhasil menghasilkan 15 karya foto yang menggambarkan aktivitas anak berkebutuhan
khusus di SLB Negeri Bogor dalam fotografi cerita dengan pendekatan deskriptif.
