Eksplorasi bentuk gendongan bayi dan kain penutup pada busana menyusui multifungsi

Working mothers also experience difficulties in providing exclusive breast milk (ASI) to their babies due to limited time and availability of facilities for breastfeeding, and lots of children's equipment that they have to bring, so leaving the house feels inconvenient. When you want to breastfeed in a public place, some people don't care or vice versa, some feel uncomfortable. This causes many breastfeeding mothers to find it difficult when they want to breastfeed when they are out of the house. Therefore, the authors want to create a multifunctional fashion clothing design in the form of a nursing wrap and apron with the aim of designing clothes for nursing mothers aged 25-30 years that are more varied in terms of design and according to their needs in the form of slings and coverings. In this qualitative research, the authors used the exploratory method with the Double Diamond design thinking approach which consisted of 4 phases from Discover, Define, Develop, to Deliver.

Sulitnya menyusui di tempat umum meskipun ada yang merasa kurang peduli atau sebaliknya, ada yang merasa tidak nyaman. Hal ini mengakibatkan banyak ibu terasa merepotkan saat ingin menyusui di luar rumah. Oleh sebab itu penulis ingin membuat sebuah rancangan fashion pakaian multifungsi dalam bentuk gendongan dan penutup dada (nursing wrap dan apron) dengan tujuan merancang pakaian ibu menyusui usia 25-30 tahun yang lebih variatif dari segi desain dan sesuai kebutuhannya dalam bentuk gendongan dan kain penutup. Pada penelitian kualitatif ini, penulis menggunakan metode ekplorasi dengan pendekatan design thinking Double Diamond yang terdiri dari 4 fase mulai dari Discover, Define, Develop, hingga Deliver.
