PENGEMBANGAN MOTIF GONG SI BOLONG BATIK DEPOK UNTUK SERAGAM APARATUR SIPIL NEGARA DI KANTOR WALIKOTA DEPOK

Batik has a very strong heritage and can serve as an identity and a means of promotion for an area, such as Depok. Depok National Crafts Council journal notes that 25 batik motifs, but none have been used as official uniforms for civil servants at the Depok Mayor's Office. Therefore the author focusing the research on developing Depok Batik motifs so that they can be used as uniforms for civil servant at the Depok Mayor's Office. This study aims to make civil servant in Depok City have new motives for their uniforms. In this study the authors used Hasso Plattner design thinking model. This research began by observing the history and meaning of the Gong si Bolong art, exploring by transforming the motif from the original form to producing component motifs which then became alternative motifs and producing 1 Gong si Bolong motif that had been developed, then made into 3 ready- to-wear outfits with classic casual style and minimalist look. From this research, it can be concluded that the development of the Depok Batik Motif with the theme Gong Si Bolong can be used as a new motif for civil servant uniforms at the Depok Mayor's Office.

Batik dapat dijadikan sebagai identitas dan promosi untuk suatu daerah termasuk Kota Depok. Berdasarkan jurnal Dekranasda Kota Depok terdapat 25 batik yang sudah memiliki HaKI. Tetapi tidak ada satupun motif batik yang dijadikan seragam resmi untuk para ASN di Kantor Walikota Depok, hal ini juga dikemukakan oleh para UKM pengrajin Batik Depok mereka mengharapkan para ASN memanfaatkan Batik Depok sebagai seragam. Maka dari itu penulis memfokuskan penulisannya dalam mengembangkan motif Gong si Bolong Batik Depok agar dapat dijadikan seragam bagi para ASN di Kantor Walikota Depok. Penulisan ini bertujuan agar ASN di Kota Depok memiliki motif baru untuk seragamnya. Dalam penulisan ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan design thinking Hasso Plattner. Penulisan ini dimulai dari mengobservasi sejarah dan arti dari kesenian Gong si Bolong, melakukan eksplorasi dengan transformasi bentuk dari bentuk asli hingga menghasilkan komponen motif yang kemudian menjadi alternatif motif dan menghasilkan 1 motif Gong si Bolong yang telah dikembangkan yang kemudian dijadikan 3 look busana ready-to-wear dengan classic casual style dan mod look. Dari penulisan ini dapat disimpulkan pengembangan Motif Batik Depok bertemakan Gong si Bolong dapat dijadikan motif baru bagi seragam ASN di Kantor Walikota Depok.
