PERANCANGAN BUSANA MODULAR CLOTHING UNTUK REMAJA MENGGUNAKAN KAIN TENU BULU

Fast fashion encourages teenagers to consume their products as they are happy with the trendy. This situation makes teenagers become consumptive and can cause clothes accumulation. These problems can be minimized using the principle of sustainable design technique by modular clothing. It is a fashion technique that can be customized by the users, not only improving style creativity but also extending the use cycle. The modular clothing is a fashion with several components that can be removed. This study aims to discover how to keep detachable clothing components neat and easily removable. The findings of the exploration researchers found that using buttons and clasps using elastic straps facilitate the users when they want to remove or attach clothing components. Furthermore, the technique of detachment and attachment using clasps and directly sewing them onto the garment components proved to be more effective than the other techniques. These details are the best technique for modular clothing because it is effective when removed. This study utilized the Design Thinking methodology by Hasso Plattner, employing the framework stages of six thinking hats and conducting studies and surveys in the form of questionnaires through Google Forms to strengthen the data and further develop it for the target market.

Fast fashion mendorong remaja mengkonsumsi produk yang mereka hasilkan karena mereka senang dengan hal yang trendy. Keadaan tersebut membuat remaja menjadi konsumtif dan dapat menimbulkan penumpukan pakaian. Dari permasalahan tersebut dapat dimininalisir menggunakan prinsip sustainable design teknik modular clothing. Modular clothing adalah teknik busana yang dapat disesuaikan sipemakai, tidak hanya miningkatkan kreativitas gaya namun juga memperpanjang siklus pemakaian. Busana modular clothing merupakan busana dengan beberapa komponen yang dapat dilepas pasang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan teknik bagaimana komponen busana yang ingin dilepas tetap terlihat rapi namun mudah untuk dilepas pasang. Hasil dari eksplorasi peneliti menemukan bahwa menggunakan kancing dan sengkelit dengan menggunakan tali elastis memudahkan sipemakai saat ingin melepas atau memasang komponen busana. Kemudian teknik melepas pasang dengan detail sengkelit dan tali yang dijahit langsung pada komponen busana juga lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan teknik lain. Detail tersebut merupakan teknik terbaik untuk busana modular clothing karena efektif saat dilepas pasang. Studi ini menggunakan metodelogi model Design Thinking dari Hasso Plattner dengan melalui tahapan kerangka berpikir six thinking hat dan analisa studi berupa studi dan berupa kuesioner melalui google form guna memperkuat data dan pengembangan kepada target market.
