Laporan Tugas Akhir Penggunaan Dasar-Dasar Suara Dalam Produksi Program Dokumenter Televisi "Hiruplah Hidup: Takut Lapar Berani Mati"

Television is one of the media that displays images and sound or audiovisual. Television as a medium has become a means of entertainment and information. The background for making this work is about the lives of poor workers who depend on Indonesia's natural wealth. The obstacle that the writer faces is the lack of use of the basics of sound in television documentary programs. The purpose of this scientific writing is to find out the proper use of the basics of sound in the production of a television documentary program "Hiruplah Hidup". Hiruplah Hidup is a television documentary program that tells about the lives of poor workers who depend on Indonesia's wealth. The method that the writer uses in this documentary program includes observation techniques, literature study and to find out the conditions needed by the writer. The author uses sound engineering theory, the basic theory of sound includes sound elements, sound effects, music, and sound dimensions. The author also uses television documentary theory as a reference material for writers in making works. as a sound writer, he is fully responsible for the sound elements in Hiruplah Hidup program, both from the pre-production, production and post-production processes. The sound engineer is also responsible for sound quality, both technical and non-technical. The author can conclude that the use of sound basics is very important in a documentary program. Based on the title that the author has made, the author produces a documentary work that applies the basics of sound with the title "Hiruplah Hidup"

Televisi adalah satu satu media yang menampilkan gambar dan suara atau audiovisual. Televisi sebagai media telah menjadi sarana hiburan dan informasi. Latar belakang pembuatan karya ini adalah tentang kehidupan buruh miskin yang bergantung hidup pada kekayaan alam Indonesia. Hambatan yang penulis hadapi adalah kurangnya penggunaan dasar-dasar suara dalam program dokumenter televisi. Tujuan penulisan ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan dasar-dasar suara yang tepat dalam produksi program dokumenter televisi ”Hiruplah Hidup”. Hiruplah Hidup merupakan program dokumenter televisi yang menceritakan tentang kehidupan buruh miskin yang bergantung hidup pada kekayaan Indonesia. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam program dokumenter ini meliputi teknik observasi, studi pustaka serta untuk mengetahui keadaan yang dibutuhkan oleh penulis. Penulis menggunakan teori penata suara, teori dasar-dasar suara meliputi unsur-unsur suara, efek suara, musik, dan dimensi suara. Penulis juga menggunakan teori dokumenter televisi sebagai bahan acuan penulis dalam membuat karya. Penulis sebagai penata suara bertanggung jawab penuh atas unsur suara yang ada pada program Hiruplah Hidup, baik dari proses pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi, Penata suara juga bertanggung jawab atas kualitas suara, baik teknis maupun non teknis. Penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan dasar-dasar suara itu sangat penting dalam sebuah program dokumenter. Berdasarkan judul yang telah penulis buat, penulis menghasilkan karya dokumenter yang menerapkan dasar-dasar suara dengan judul “Hiruplah Hidup”
