PERANCANGAN KOMIK SEBAGAI MEDIA EDUKASI PENTINGNYA MENJAGA KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT

Mulai maraknya pengidap penyakit gigi saat ini menyebabkan lebih dari 90% anak usia dini terkena penyakit gigi. Di Indonesia kasus ini bukan hanya di jangkit oleh anak-anak saja namud orang dewasa pun. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh RISKESDAS 2018, menunjukan kondisi kesehatan gigi masyarakat Indonesia cenderung tidak baik. Dari hasil survei kesehatan, didapat 57,6% penduduk Indonesia mengalami masalah gigi dan mulut. Prevalensi gigi berlubang pada anak usia dini sangat tinggi yakni 93%, artinya jumlah itu masih jauh dari target Badan Organisasi Dunia (WHO) yang menginginkan 50% anak usiadini terbebas dari karies gigi (Riskesdas, 2018). Dipilihnya Komik ini agar mempermudah informasi tentang apa itu penyakit gigi dan sesuai dengan judul. Perancangan ini akan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data seperti survei, dan kepustakaan. Selain itu dalam perancangan buku ini akan dilengkapi dengan media pendukung seperti poster, banner hingga Gelas minum.

Dengan mengangkat materi ini, akan menimbulkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatam gigi dan mulut apa lagi untuk anak-anak yang bermanfaat untuk gigi sehat di generasi muda.

In addition, the design of this book will be equipped with supporting media such as posters, banners and drinking glasses.

By raising this material, it will raise public awareness about the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and mouth what else for children which is beneficial for healthy teeth in the younger generation
