MEMINIMALISASI KETIDAKSESUAIAN STOCK OPNAME ANTARA SISTEM INVENTORY DENGAN AKTUAL BARANG DI DEPARTMENT WAREHOUSE FINISH GOOD MENGGUNAKAN METODE (DMAIC)

In the process of stock taking (inventory calculation) is a form of a series of activities in terms of calculating and adjusting the stock of goods owned by the company stored in the warehouse. In inventory management of finished good goods, neglect in recording stock of goods is a responsibility related to inventory. In the stock taking process, the author has the aim of knowing the application of the DMAIC method to minimize the incompatibility of the inventory system with the actual goods in the warehouse. The method used by the author is the method of observation and descriptive method. This data collection method was carried out by interviewing related parties and direct observation. The author's discussion includes the stock taking process that runs in the finish good warehouse, the factors causing the stock taking discrepancy between the inventory system and the actual goods in the finish good warehouse and the application of the DMAIC method. With this writing, the author can provide solutions and suggestions for companies to apply the DMAIC method in terms of the stock taking process.

Pada proses stock opname (perhitungan inventory) merupakan bentuk rangkaian kegiatan dalam hal penghitungan dan penyesuaian stok barang yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan yang tersimpan di dalam gudang. Pada pengelolaan persediaan barang finish good, pengabaian dalam pencatatan stok barang merupakan tanggung jawab yang menyangkut persediaan. Pada proses stock opname penulis memiliki tujuan ingin mengetahui penerapan metode DMAIC untuk meminimalisasi ketidaksesuaian sistem inventory dengan aktual barang di warehouse. Metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode observasi dan metode deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan wawancara pihak terkait dan pengamatan langsung. Pembahasan penulis diantaranya proses stock opname yang berjalan di warehouse finish good, faktor penyebab ketidaksesuaian stock opname antara sistem inventory dengan aktual barang di warehouse finish good serta penerapan metode DMAIC. Dengan adanya penulisan ini penulis dapat memberikan solusi serta saran bagi perusahaan untuk menerapkan metode DMAIC dalam hal proses stock opname.
