Abstract

ABSTRAK
MacMax Crunchy is a snack food product produced by CV. Aldy Tunas Sejahtera. The name "MacMax Crunchy" comes from the word "Mac" which represents the main ingredient, namely macaroni and "Max" which means maximum, which means maximum crunchiness. The term "Crunchy" emphasizes the crunchy texture of the macaroni. Snacks are widely enjoyed by children and adults due to their practicality and variety of flavors, in line with current trends. Therefore, a Brand Identity redesign was proposed to refresh the company's image. The Brand Identity includes visual symbols that reflect the image to be conveyed so that consumers can easily recognize and remember MacMax Crunchy products. The redesign process is to create a logo as the main media, then graphic elements, promotional media and logo application to any media. This design is made as a guideline for Macmax Crunchy's visual identity in order to have consistency in the use of logos in various media and it is hoped that the Macmax Crunchy brand will be better known so that it can increase the selling value of using the new logo that has been designed.

MacMax Crunchy adalah sebuah produk makanan ringan yang diproduksi oleh CV.Aldy Tunas Sejahtera. Nama "MacMax Crunchy" berasal dari kata "Mac," yang mewakili bahan utama, makaroni, dan "Max" yang artinya maximum, yang menyiratkan rasa renyah maksimum. Istilah "Crunchy" menekankan tekstur renyah makaroni. Makanan ringan banyak dinikmati oleh anak-anak dan orang dewasa karena kepraktisan dan beragam rasa, sejalan dengan tren saat ini. Oleh karena itu, Perancangan Ulang Brand Identity diusulkan untuk menyegarkan citra perusahaan. Brand Identity menggabungkan simbol visual yang mencerminkan citra yang ingin disampaikan sehingga konsumen dapat dengan mudah mengenali dan mengingat produk MacMax Crunchy. Proses Perancangan Ulang tersebut yaitu membuat logo sebagai media utama, kemudian elemen grafis, media promosi dan pengaplikasian logo terhadap media apapun. Perancangan ini dibuat sebagai pedoman identitas visual bagi Macmax Crunchy agar memiliki konsistensi terhadap penggunaan logo di berbagai media serta diharapkan merek Macmax Crunchy akan lebih dikenal sehingga dapat menaikkan nilai jual dari penggunaan logo baru yang telah dirancang.
