Abstract

Ancillary service is an additional service that supports tourism activities. There is a
lack of optimal implementation of ancillary services at the Istiqlal Mosque. There was
a decrease in the number of visitors to the Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta in April – May
2024. The problem in this study is ancillary service at the Istiqlal Mosque, the
decision of tourists to visit the Istiqlal Mosque, and the influence of ancillary service
on the decision of tourists to visit the Istiqlal Mosque. The purpose of this study is to
find out the ancillary service at the Istiqlal Mosque, the decision of tourists to visit the
Istiqlal Mosque, and the influence of ancillary service on the decision of tourists to
visit the Istiqlal Mosque. In this study, a quantitative descriptive method was used
with the theory used by the 6A theory by Buhalis (Nugroho & Sugiarti, 2018). Data
obtained through documentation and questionnaires. The population in this study was
103,816 visitors, sampling through the Krejcie and Morgan formula, with a sample of
384 visitors. Data collection is used through questionnaires distributed through
Google Forms. The results of this study ancillary service have a positive impact on
tourist decisions as evidenced by a correlation value of 0.511 greater than 0.023 and
its contribution of 39.6% shows that ancillary service has an effect on tourist
decisions.

Ancillary service adalah layanan tambahan yang mendukung kegiatan wisata. Terdapat
kurang optimalnya penerapan ancillary service pada Masjid Istiqlal. Terjadi penurunan
jumlah pengunjung Masjid Istiqlal Jakarta pada bulan April – Mei 2024. Masalah
dalam penelitian ini adalah ancillary service pada Masjid Istiqlal, keputusan
wisatawan berkunjung ke Masjid Istiqlal, dan pengaruh ancillary service terhadap
keputusan wisatawan berkunjung ke Masjid Istiqlal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk
mengetahui ancillary service di Masjid Istiqlal, keputusan wisatawan berkunjung ke
Masjid Istiqlal, dan pengaruh ancillary service terhadap keputusan wisatawan
berkunjung ke Masjid Istiqlal. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif
kuantitatif dengan teori yang dipakai teori 6A oleh Buhalis (Nugroho & Sugiarti,
2018). Data yang diperoleh melalui dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Populasi pada
penelitian ini 103.816 pengunjung, pengambilan sampel melalui rumus Krejcie dan
Morgan, dengan sampel 384 pengunjung. Pengumpulan data yang dipakai melalui
kuesioner yang disebarkan melalui Google Form. Hasil penelitian ini ancillary service
memberikan dampak positif terhadap keputusan wisatawan yang dibuktikan dengan
nilai korelasi 0,511 lebih besar dari 0,023 dan kontribusinya sebesar 39,6%
menunjukan bahwa ancillary service berpengaruh terhadap keputusan wisatawan.
