Abstract

This research focuses on the role of a 3D artist in creating environment assets with stylized art style and lowpoly polygons in the game "Electricky". This final project aims to explore creativity and uniqueness in creating game environments by applying the concept of stylized art, particularly in the use of lowpoly polygons. The development process involves the role of a Game Artist using 3D modeling applications such as Blender and Substance Painter. The selection of stylized art style and the use of lowpoly polygons are done with the aim of optimizing game performance, maintaining unique aesthetics, and providing a simple yet captivating visual experience in the context of the "Electricky" game, which aims to educate about electricity conservation. This abstract covers the background of the problem, research objectives, development methods, and potential contributions to game development and digital art. Hopefully, the results of this research can inspire 3D artists, game developers, and digital art professionals.

Penelitian ini berfokus pada peran seorang 3D artist dalam pembuatan aset lingkungan dengan gaya seni stylized dan poligon lowpoly pada game "Electricky". Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kreativitas dan keunikan dalam pembuatan lingkungan game dengan mengaplikasikan konsep seni stylized, khususnya dalam penggunaan poligon rendah (lowpoly). Proses pengembangan melibatkan peran sebagai Game Artist dengan menggunakan aplikasi 3D model seperti Blender dan Substance Painter. Pemilihan gaya seni stylized dan penggunaan poligon lowpoly dilakukan dengan tujuan mengoptimalkan kinerja game, menjaga estetika yang unik, dan memberikan pengalaman visual yang sederhana namun memukau dalam konteks game "Electricky" yang bertujuan edukatif terkait penghematan listrik. Abstrak ini mencakup latar belakang permasalahan, tujuan penelitian, metode pengembangan, serta potensi kontribusi terhadap pengembangan game dan seni digital. Harapannya, hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi 3D artist, pengembang game, dan para profesional seni digital.
