Abstract
ABSTRAK
This final project is titled "Designing the Interactive Puzzle Game ‘Hulingsa’ in
Batak Toba Language Based on Android". The main issue identified is the lack of
knowledge about Batak Toba culture and the decline in interest in traditional
games. The project's goal is to design an educational puzzle game to preserve the
Batak Toba language, using the C# programming language and the Android
platform with a user-friendly interface design. The method used is the Waterfall
Model (GDLC), including analysis, design, development, and testing. The results
show that the "Hulingsa" game is effective in teaching the Batak Toba language
and is well-received by users. In conclusion, the game is successful as both an
educational and entertainment medium and contributes positively to the
preservation of Batak Toba culture. Recommendations for further development
include adding content, improving graphics, and expanding to other platforms.

Proyek tugas akhir ini berjudul "Perancangan Game Teka-Teki Interaktif
‘Hulingsa’ dalam Bahasa Batak Toba Berbasis Android". Masalah utamanya adalah
kurangnya pengetahuan tentang budaya Batak Toba dan menurunnya minat
terhadap permainan tradisional. Tujuan proyek ini adalah merancang game tekateki edukatif untuk melestarikan bahasa Batak Toba, menggunakan bahasa
pemrograman C# dan platform Android dengan desain antarmuka yang userfriendly. Metode yang digunakan adalah Model Waterfall (GDLC), meliputi
analisis, desain, pengembangan, dan pengujian. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa
game "Hulingsa" efektif dalam mengajarkan bahasa Batak Toba dan diterima
dengan baik oleh pengguna. Kesimpulannya, game ini sukses sebagai media
edukatif dan hiburan, serta berkontribusi positif terhadap pelestarian budaya Batak
Toba. Saran pengembangan lebih lanjut mencakup penambahan konten,
peningkatan grafis, dan ekspansi ke platform lain.
