Pembuatan Resort Wear untuk Wanita Dewasa Awal dengan Teknik Bordir Kerancang di Salsabila Bordir

ABSTRAK
Resort wear or holiday clothes are becoming an increasing concern in the
Indonesian fashion market. Based on the results of consumer surveys, Salsabila
Bordir most often performs recreational or holiday activities. Salsabila Bordir's
partner is a bordir MSME who has the problem of wanting to develop fashion
products that consumers need in accordance with frequently performed activities.
So we need to innovate resort wear products with embroidery techniques. The
research is aimed at developing a resort fashion product with a curved border
technique as one of the characteristic features of Salsabila Bordir for early adult
women. Resort wear is a fashion made and used during the holidays. The drawing
technique is one of the techniques of decorating a fabric surface with a thread
following a particular motif or making small fields, then the part of the field that is
not exposed to the border will be covered by a cut or soldered way. This research
method uses Hasso Platner's Design thinking approach. The final result of the
research is a resort wear for women aged 26-35 years with the technique of
embroidery design flora motifs according to the characteristics of Salsabila Bordir.
It can be concluded that the author has developed a collection of resort clothes that
combines modern aesthetics with the uniqueness of embroidery techniques in
Salsabila Bordir.

Salsabila Bordir
Resort wear atau pakaian liburan semakin menjadi perhatian di pasar fashion
Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil survey kuesioner konsumen Salsabila Bordir paling
sering melakukan kegiatan rekreasi atau liburan. Mitra Salsabila Bordir merupakan
UMKM bordir yang memiliki permasalahan ingin mengembangkan produk fashion
yang dibutuhkan konsumen sesuai kegiatan yang sering dilakukan. Sehingga
dibutuhkan inovasi produk resort wear dengan teknik bordir. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk busana resort dengan teknik bordir
kerancang sebagai salah satu ciri khas Salsabila Bordir untuk wanita dewasa awal.
Resort wear merupakan busana yang dibuat dan digunakan ketika berlibur. Teknik
bordir kerancang merupakan salah satu teknik menghias permukaan kain dengan
benang mengikuti motif tertentu atau membuat bidang-bidang kecil, kemudian
bagian bidang tersebut yang tidak terkena bordir akan dilubangi dengan cara
digunting atau disolder. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Design
thinking Hasso Platner. Hasil akhir penelitian Tugas Akhir ini adalah resort wear
untuk wanita usia 26-35 tahun dengan teknik bordir kerancang motif flora sesuai
ciri khas Salsabila Bordir. Dapat disimpulkan penulis telah mengembangkan sebuah
koleksi pakaian resort yang menggabungkan estetika modern dengan keunikan
teknik bordir kerancang di Salsabila Bordir.
