LAPORAN TUGAS AKHIR FILM PENDEK ANIMASI 2D & 3D “THE LITTLE DINO”

In this modern era, technology is developing rapidly. The emergence of content based on 2D and 3D animation is very significant. Animation is a very interesting entertainment to watch by all ages and is very popular with adults, especially children. And also animation is often used as a medium of education and entertainment for the community. The animated short film “The Little Dino” tells the story of a small dinosaur who must struggle to survive to find a new place to live and meet one of the surviving dinosaurs. Their adventures and friendship stories emerge while on a journey to discover a new world. In the process of making this animated film, the author uses Autodesk Maya software, Toonboom Harmony, and Adobe After Effects. The author hopes that this animated short film "The Little Dino" can entertain the audience and also be useful.

Pada era modern ini teknologi semakin berkembang pesat. Kemunculan konten berbasis animasi 2D dan 3D sangatlah signifikan. Animasi menjadi hiburan yang sangat menarik untuk ditonton oleh segala usia dan sangat digemari oleh orang dewasa terutama anak-anak. Dan juga animasi sering dijadikan media edukasi dan hiburan untuk masyarakat. Film pendek animasi “The Little Dino” menceritakan kisah seekor dinosaurus kecil yang harun berjuang bertahan hidup untuk menemukan tempat tinggal baru dan bertemu dengan salah satu dinosaurus yang masih hidup. Petualangan dan kisah persahabatan mereka muncul disaat diperjalanan untuk menemukan dunia baru. Dalam proses pembuatan film animasi ini penulis menggunakan software Autodesk Maya, Toonboom Harmony, dan Adobe After Effect. Penulis berharap film pendek animasi “The Little Dino” ini bisa menghibur penonton dan juga bermanfaat.
