Abstract

Virtual Reality was the result of developing realistic three-dimensional images using computers to describe simulated circumstances or objects. The lack of public understanding of driving rules, including traffic signs and road markings, needed to be overcome by the introduction and socialization by various parties. Virtual reality applications were expected to be applied in the socialization of driving rules and the introduction of traffic signs, because there were still no similar applications that used virtual reality bases in the form of Android applications. Through digital mobile applications that were attractive and optimal for users, especially teenagers, by paying attention to visual aspects with a point of view from inside the car that made an immersive impression and intuitive player control. This virtual reality application was created with the aim of increasing user knowledge about driving rules, especially regarding traffic signs and road markings.

Virtual Reality adalah hasil pengembangan gambar tiga dimensi yang realistis menggunakan komputer untuk mendeskripsikan keadaan atau objek yang disimulasikan,. Masih kurangnya tingkat pemahaman Masyarakat mengenai aturan berkendara diantaranya rambu lalu lintas dan marka jalan perlu diatasi dengan adanya pengenalan dan sosialisasi dari berbagai pihak. Aplikasi Virtual reality ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan dalam sosialisasi aturan berkendara serta pengenalan rambu lalu lintas, karena masih belum ada aplikasi sejenis yang menggunakan basis virtual reality dalam bentuk aplikasi android .Melalui aplikasi digital mobile yang menarik dan optimal bagi pengguna, terutama remaja, dengan memperhatikan aspek visual dengan sudut pandang dari dalam mobil yang membuat kesan immersive dan kontrol pemain yang intuitif .Aplikasi virtual reality ini dibuat dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan pengguna mengenai aturan berkendara terutama mengenai rambu lalu lintas dan marka jalan.
