PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM PENERAPAN TEKNIK SIX - PART STORYBORD UNTUK MEMBANGUN ALUR CERITA PROGRAM REALITY SHOW "NYERBU KAMAR"

Perkembangan media digital mendorong lahirnya berbagai program audiovisual, termasuk reality show yang kini banyak didistribusikan melalui platform YouTube. Meskipun menampilkan peristiwa nyata, reality show tetap memerlukan alur cerita yang terstruktur agar setiap segmen memiliki kesinambungan dan mudah dipahami oleh audiens. Dalam proses tersebut, Program Director berperan penting dalam mengarahkan jalannya produksi sesuai konsep yang telah dirancang. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan menjelaskan peran Program Director dalam menerapkan teknik Six-Part Storyboard untuk membangun alur cerita pada program reality show Nyerbu Kamar. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara sebagai dasar penyusunan konsep program dan pelaksanaan produksi. Hasil penerapan menunjukkan bahwa Six-Part Storyboard membantu Program Director menyusun alur cerita secara lebih sistematis, menjaga kesinambungan antarsegmen, mempermudah koordinasi selama produksi, serta tetap mempertahankan karakter spontan yang menjadi ciri khas reality show. Dengan demikian, teknik ini mendukung terciptanya tayangan yang runtut, menarik, dan mudah dipahami oleh audiens.

YouTube. Although reality shows present real-life events, they still require a
well-structured storyline to ensure continuity and make the program easy for
audiences to follow. In this process, the Program Director plays an important
role in directing the production according to the planned concept. This final
project aims to describe the role of the Program Director in implementing the
Six-Part Storyboard technique to develop the storyline of the reality show
Nyerbu Kamar. The methods used include observation, literature review, and
interviews. The results show that the Six-Part Storyboard technique helps the
Program Director organize the storyline systematically, maintain continuity
between segments, improve production coordination, and preserve the
spontaneous nature of reality shows. Therefore, this technique supports the
production of a coherent, engaging, and easily understood audiovisual
program.
