Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors causing hopper sensor damage on the EXT-02 Extrusion Lamination machine at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk's Flexible Packaging Division and determine appropriate Preventive and corrective maintenance measures. The methods used include a fishbone diagram to analyze the causes of damage, the 5W+1H method to develop repair proposals, and MTBF, MTTR, availability , and Pareto analysis to evaluate the level of sensor reliability. The results indicate that hopper sensor damage is caused by human, machine, method, material, and environmental factors. Pareto analysis indicates that Sensor Drop and Sensor Error are the dominant faults, with a cumulative contribution of 83.01% to total downtime. The MTBF value obtained was 206.27 hours, MTTR 104 minutes, and availability 99.17%. Recommendations for improvement include regular inspection, cleaning, calibration, and cable and connector checks to improve hopper sensor reliability.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab kerusakan sensor hopper pada mesin Extrusion Laminasi EXT-02 di PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Flexible Packaging Division serta menentukan tindakan preventive dan corrective maintenance yang tepat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi fishbone diagram untuk menganalisis penyebab kerusakan, 5W+1H untuk menyusun usulan perbaikan, serta analisis MTBF, MTTR, availability , dan Pareto untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keandalan sensor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan sensor hopper disebabkan oleh faktor manusia, mesin, metode, material, dan lingkungan. Analisis Pareto menunjukkan bahwa Sensor Drop dan Sensor Error merupakan gangguan dominan dengan kontribusi kumulatif 83,01% terhadap total downtime. Nilai MTBF yang diperoleh sebesar 206,27 jam, MTTR 104 menit, dan availability 99,17%. Rekomendasi perbaikan meliputi inspeksi, pembersihan, kalibrasi, serta pemeriksaan kabel dan konektor secara berkala untuk meningkatkan keandalan sensor hopper.
