PERANCANGAN ZINE MUSIK INTERAKTIF SEBAGAI MEDIA UNTUK MENAMPILKAN PERSPEKTIF PEREMPUAN DALAM PERTUNJUKAN BAND PUNK ROCK "LIPS!!"

Women still face limitations in participating within the punk rock music scene, which is often dominated by masculine culture, causing their experiences to be underrepresented and insufficiently documented. LIPS!!, a punk rock band from East Jakarta, promotes inclusivity through the Girls to the Front initiative; however, this practice has not been comprehensively communicated as a unified narrative. This project aims to design an interactive music zine as a medium for representing women's perspectives in LIPS!! punk rock performances and documenting their participation within gig spaces. The research methods employed include interviews, questionnaires, observation, and literature review. The outcome of this project is an interactive music zine entitled RIOTPUAN: Girls to the Front, by LIPS!!, which combines documentary photography, visual narratives, and Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The integration of AR enables access to multimedia content, enriching the representation of women's experiences in punk rock music performances.

Perempuan masih menghadapi keterbatasan ruang partisipasi dalam skena musik punk rock yang didominasi budaya maskulin sehingga pengalaman mereka jarang terdokumentasikan secara khusus. Band LIPS!! menghadirkan praktik inklusif melalui konsep Girls to the Front, namun praktik tersebut belum dikomunikasikan sebagai narasi yang utuh. Perancangan ini bertujuan merancang zine musik interaktif sebagai media representasi perspektif perempuan dalam pertunjukan band punk rock LIPS!! serta mendokumentasikan praktik partisipasi perempuan yang terjadi di ruang gig. Metode yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, kuesioner, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Hasil perancangan berupa zine interaktif RIOTPUAN: Girls to the Front, by LIPS!! yang menggabungkan fotografi dokumenter, narasi visual, dan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR). Integrasi AR memungkinkan akses terhadap konten multimedia sehingga memperkaya representasi pengalaman perempuan dalam pertunjukan band punk rock LIPS!!.
