PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENYEWAAN APARTEMEN DENGAN IMPLEMENTASI SMART E-BOOKING BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROTOTYPE

The apartment rental process at Menteng Square Apartment is still carried out manually through direct communication, such as phone calls or WhatsApp. This condition requires prospective tenants to wait for confirmation to obtain information about units, facilities, rental prices, and date availability. In addition, manual recording may cause delayed data updates, recording errors, and booking schedule conflicts or double booking. This study aims to design and develop a website-based apartment rental information system by implementing the Smart EBooking feature using the Prototype method. The development stages include communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, and deployment, delivery, and feedback. The system was developed using Laravel, PHP, and MySQL. The resulting product is the MSquare website, which provides unit information, unit filtering, unit details, availability calendar, date conflict validation, booking, booking receipt, My Bookings, payment proof upload, FAQ, gallery, contact, chatbot, and an administrator page. The Black Box Testing results showed that 23 out of 23 scenarios were valid. User Acceptance Testing showed that 10 out of 10 scenarios were accepted.

Proses penyewaan unit Apartemen Menteng Square masih dilakukan secara manual melalui komunikasi langsung, seperti telepon atau WhatsApp. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan calon penyewa harus menunggu konfirmasi untuk memperoleh informasi unit, fasilitas, harga sewa, dan ketersediaan tanggal. Selain itu, pencatatan manual berisiko menimbulkan keterlambatan pembaruan data, kesalahan pencatatan, serta bentrok jadwal pemesanan atau double booking. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi penyewaan apartemen berbasis website dengan implementasi fitur Smart E-Booking menggunakan metode Prototype. Tahapan pengembangan meliputi communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, serta deployment, delivery, and feedback. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan Laravel, PHP, dan MySQL. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa website MSquare dengan fitur informasi unit, filter unit, detail unit, kalender ketersediaan, validasi konflik tanggal, booking, bukti pemesanan, My Bookings, unggah bukti pembayaran, FAQ, galeri, kontak, chatbot, serta halaman administrator. Hasil pengujian Black Box menunjukkan 23 dari 23 skenario valid. User Acceptance Testing menunjukkan 10 dari 10 skenario diterima.
