OPTIMALISASI TEKNIK PANNING DAN TILTING DALAM MENGIKUTI ARAH PERGERAKAN OBJEK PADA PROGRAM SPORTAINMENT “PADEL ECHOES”

ABSTRACT
The television program "Padel Echoes" is a live streaming sportainment program that presents padel sports competition through an innovative entertainment approach. In the production of this program, the role of the camera operator is crucial in shaping the visual perspective that effectively supports aesthetics, stability, and continuity of the images. This study aims to analyze the role of the camera operator in the use of multi-camera shooting techniques, as well as visual strategies such as camera placement layout (floorplan) and camera movement techniques (tracking shot) applied in the production of the live sports streaming. The writer employs observation, literature review, and direct participation as a camera operator to evaluate the effectiveness of the planning, execution, and post-production stages. The findings of this research indicate that proper camera arrangements through the optimization of a fluid head tripod enhance the dynamics of fast-paced object movements, maintain visual stability, and improve the overall viewing experience. This work also serves as a reference for students and media practitioners in understanding the technical role of camera operators in live television production.

ABSTRAK
Program televisi “Padel Echoes” merupakan program live streaming sportainment yang mengangkat kompetisi olahraga padel dengan pendekatan hiburan yang inovatif. Dalam produksi program ini, peran penata kamera sangat krusial dalam membentuk perspektif visual yang mendukung estetika, kestabilan, dan kontinuitas gambar secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran penata kamera dalam penggunaan teknik pengambilan gambar multikamera, serta strategi visual seperti penataan letak kamera (floorplan) dan teknik pergerakan kamera (tracking shot) yang diterapkan dalam produksi live streaming sport tersebut. Penulis menggunakan metode observasi, studi pustaka, serta partisipasi langsung sebagai penata kamera untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi pasca-produksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tata kamera yang tepat melalui optimalisasi fluid head tripod mampu memperkuat dinamika pergerakan objek bertempo cepat, menjaga kestabilan visual, serta meningkatkan pengalaman menonton. Karya ini juga menjadi referensi bagi mahasiswa maupun praktisi media dalam memahami peran teknis penata kamera dalam produksi program televisi live.
