PENGARUH KONDISI ANILOX ROLL TERHADAP STABILITAS TINTA DAN HASIL CETAK LABEL PADA MESIN GALLUS LM440 DI PT MCC

ABSTRAK
Kualitas hasil cetak pada proses Flexography sangat dipengaruhi oleh kinerja sistem transfer tinta, khususnya kondisi Anilox Roll yang berfungsi mengatur jumlah tinta yang dipindahkan ke acuan cetak. Pengamatan ini bertujuan untuk mengamati kondisi aktual Anilox Roll pada mesin Gallus lm440, mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap stabilitas tinta, serta mengidentifikasi defect hasil cetak yang disebabkan oleh kondisi Anilox Roll. Metode pengamatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan pengamatan data hasil pengukuran menggunakan alat X-Rite eXact selama pelaksanaan Praktik Industri di PT Multi Color Corporation. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa penyumbatan cell Anilox Roll menurunkan kemampuan transfer tinta sehingga menyebabkan penurunan nilai Density warna solid dan kualitas hasil cetak menjadi tidak konsisten. Pengamatan Fishbone menunjukkan bahwa faktor manusia, terutama kurang optimalnya inspeksi dan cleaning, menjadi penyebab utama. Cleaning rutin mampu mengembalikan performa transfer tinta sehingga kualitas hasil cetak kembali memenuhi standar perusahaan.

ABSTRACT
Print quality in the flexographic printing process is highly influenced by the performance of the ink transfer system, particularly the condition of the Anilox Roll, which regulates the amount of ink transferred to the printing acuan. This study aims to analyze the actual condition of the Anilox Roll on the Gallus lm440 printing machine, examine its effect on ink stability, and identify print defects caused by the Anilox Roll condition. The research employed a descriptive method through observation, interviews, documentation, and analysis of measurement data using the X-Rite eXact device during an industrial internship at PT Multi Color Corporation. The results show that clogged Anilox Roll cells reduced ink transfer capability, causing lower solid color Density and inconsistent print quality. Fishbone analysis identified human factors, particularly inadequate inspeksi and cleaning, as the main cause. Routine cleaning successfully restored ink transfer performance and improved print quality to meet company standards.
