Peran Produser Pada Tahap Pra-Produksi Film Pendek She What I See

ABSTRAK
Penulisan tugas akhir ini membahas peran produser pada tahap pra-produksi film pendek She What I See. Film pendek bergenre drama ini mengangkat tema mengenai takdir, kesepian, dan imajinasi seorang anak perempuan yang hidup dengan keterbatasan fisik akibat penyakit bawaan sejak lahir. Dalam proses produksinya, tahap pra-produksi menjadi fondasi utama untuk memastikan konsep visual dan naratif dapat direalisasikan secara efektif dan efisien. Penulisan ini berfokus pada bagaimana produser berperan dalam pengembangan cerita, koordinasi antar departemen, penyusunan timeline dan anggaran, serta pengawasan terhadap kesiapan teknis dan administratif produksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penciptaan karya film pendek fiksi berdurasi ±15 menit dengan penulis berperan langsung sebagai produser. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa produser tidak hanya bertugas sebagai pengelola administratif, tetapi juga sebagai penghubung antara konsep kreatif dan realisasi teknis produksi. Melalui perencanaan dan pengelolaan yang matang pada tahap pra-produksi, produser mampu menjaga konsistensi konsep cerita, meminimalisasi kendala produksi, serta mendukung terciptanya pengalaman emosional dan simbolik yang sesuai dengan visi film She What I See.

ABSTRACT
This final project discusses the role of the producer during the pre-production stage of the short film She What I See. This drama short film raises themes of fate, loneliness, and the imagination of a young girl living with physical limitations caused by a congenital illness. In the production process, pre-production becomes the main foundation to ensure that the visual and narrative concepts can be realized effectively and efficiently. This study focuses on how the producer contributes to story development, inter-department coordination, scheduling and budgeting, as well as supervising the technical and administrative readiness of the production. The method used is the creation of a fictional short film with a duration of approximately ±15 minutes, in which the writer directly serves as the producer. The results of the discussion show that the producer is not only responsible for administrative management, but also acts as a bridge between the creative concept and the technical realization of the production. Through careful planning and management during the pre-production stage, the producer is able to maintain the consistency of the story concept, minimize production obstacles, and support the creation of an emotional and symbolic experience that aligns with the vision of the film She What I See.
