PERANCANGAN BUKU CERITA INTERAKTIF KELUARGA KECILKU SEBAGAI MEDIA STIMULASI MINAT BACA SISWA KELAS I MIS NURUL IMAN

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the limited attention spans and the fact that some first-grade students at MIS Nurul Iman are still at the spelling stage, creating a need for interactive and adaptive learning media. This final project aims to design an interactive storybook titled "Keluarga Kecilku" (My Little Family) as a foundational literacy tool that supports children's kinesthetic learning styles. The design process involved observation, interviews, and an analysis of the visual needs of early-childhood learners. The results indicate that a "flat design" style featuring brightly colored *chibi* characters effectively captures students' attention. The use of large Sans Serif typography against a clean background also facilitates the spelling process for children. Furthermore, the book incorporates manual mechanisms—such as pull-tabs, lift-the-flaps, and Velcro fasteners—constructed from glossy-laminated Art Carton, thereby providing a cost-effective yet powerful multisensory experience. This book is intended to serve as an effective alternative learning medium for boosting students' reading interest and focus.

ABSTRAK
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah terbatasnya rentang fokus dan masih adanya siswa kelas I MIS Nurul Iman yang berada di fase mengeja, sehingga diperlukan media belajar yang interaktif dan adaptif. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan merancang buku cerita interaktif "Keluarga Kecilku" sebagai sarana literasi dasar yang mendukung gaya belajar kinestetik anak. Metode perancangan mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan analisis kebutuhan visual anak usia dini. Hasilnya, Flat Design dengan karakter chibi berwarna cerah terbukti efektif menarik perhatian siswa. Penggunaan huruf Sans Serif berukuran besar pada latar belakang yang bersih juga mempermudah anak mengeja. Selain itu, buku ini dilengkapi mekanik manual seperti pull-tab, lift-the-flap, dan velcro berbahan Art Carton berlaminasi glossy, sehingga memberikan stimulus multisensori yang ekonomis dan kuat. Buku ini diharapkan menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan fokus siswa.
