Abstract

ABSTRAK
Mesin blower SIEMENS 7,5 kW merupakan komponen penting pada sistem drying chamber mesin Heliostar yang digunakan dalam proses printing film di PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. Divisi Packaging. Kerusakan pada mesin blower dapat menyebabkan terganggunya proses pengeringan tinta dan menurunkan kualitas hasil cetak. Penulisan tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi aktual sistem pemeliharaan, mengidentifikasi prioritas mode kegagalan menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), serta menentukan tindakan preventive maintenance menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama periode Februari hingga Juni 2025. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa mesin blower memiliki total jam operasi sebesar 3040 jam, jumlah kerusakan sebanyak 15 kali, dan total downtime sebesar 20 jam. Nilai MTBF yang diperoleh sebesar 202,67 jam, MTTR sebesar 1,33 jam, dan availability sebesar 99,35%. Hasil FMEA menunjukkan bahwa bearing merupakan komponen dengan tingkat risiko kegagalan tertinggi dengan nilai RPN sebesar 224. Berdasarkan analisis RCM, tindakan pemeliharaan yang direkomendasikan meliputi Scheduled Restoration Task, Scheduled Discard Task, dan Condition Directed Maintenance.
ABSTRACT
The SIEMENS 7.5 kW blower is an important component in the drying chamber system of the Heliostar machine used in the film printing process at PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk. Packaging Division. Damage to the blower can disrupt the ink drying process and reduce print quality. This final project aims to determine the actual condition of the maintenance system, identify and prioritize failure modes using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, and determine appropriate preventive maintenance actions using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method.
Data were collected through observation, interviews, and maintenance documentation from February to June 2025. The analysis results show that the blower machine operated for a total of 3,040 hours, experienced 15 failures, and recorded a total downtime of 20 hours. The calculated Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) was 202.67 hours, Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) was 1.33 hours, and Availability was 99.35%. The FMEA results indicate that the bearing is the component with the highest failure risk, with an RPN value of 224. Based on the RCM analysis, the recommended maintenance actions include Scheduled Restoration Task, Scheduled Discard Task, and Condition Directed Maintenance.
