Perancangan Desain Kalender Sebagai Media Promosi Visual SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Pinem

The large number of schools in the Tanah Pinem area makes SMP Negeri 1 Tanah
Pinem increasingly competitive, due to the lack of promotional media, which
causes interaction with the community to be very limited. Therefore, this research
aims to improve visual promotional media so as to increase the interest of new
students attending school at SMP N1 Tanah Pinem. The methods used in this
research are observation, literature study and interviews, as well as analysis to
determine design concepts that are in accordance with the character and identity
of the school. The design process includes selecting visual concepts, colors,
typography and illustrations as well as an aesthetic layout. The design results
demonstrate that the resulting calendar serves as an engaging and informative
visual promotional tool. It features information regarding the school's profile,
facilities, achievements, activities, and new student admissions. It is hoped that
this calendar will introduce SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Pinem and serve as an engaging
and informative source of information.

Banyaknya Sekolah yang di daerah Tanah Pinem sehingga membuat SMP Negeri
1 Tanah pinem menjadi daya saing semakin tinggi, karena kurangnya media
promosi sehingga menyebabkan interaksi kepada masyarakat sangat terbatas. Oleh
karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan media promosi visual
sehingga menambah minat siswa baru bersekolah di SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Pinem.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, studi pustaka dan
wawancara, serta analiss untuk penentuan konsep desain yang sesuai dengan
karakter dan identitas sekolah. Proses perancangan mencakup pemilihan konsep
visual, warna, tipografi dan ilustrasi serta tataletak yang estetis. Hasil perancangan
menunjukkan bahwa kalender yang dihasilkan dapat menjadi media promosi visual
yang menarik dan informatif. Kalender memuat informasi tentang profil sekolah,
fasilitas, prestasi, kegiatan, serta penerimaan peserta didik baru. Diharapkan
kalender ini dapat memperkenalkan SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Pinem serta menjadi
media infromasi yang menarik dan informatif.
