Peran Program Director Dalam Mengarahkan Proses Produksi Sekaligus Menjadi Partisipan Penceritaan Dalam Dokumenter Partisipatori "Story Of Creators"

Documentary are one of the preferred options for creators to convey facts in a
structured manner. One example is the reflexive documentary program "Story
Of Creator's." To direct the program and participate in storytelling, the writer
acts as the program director. This writing aims to explore the directing
techniques used by the program director in guiding the production of the
reflexive documentary program "Story Of Creator's." The data collection
methods used in this writing are observation and literature study to understand
how the program director directs the production of the reflexive documentary.
Raharjo & Anisti (2018) state that a program director has a significant role in
setting the shooting location and in the pre-production to post-production
process. In the reflexive documentary program "Story Of Creator's," the writer
applies directing techniques according to Michael Rabiger to ensure the
program runs smoothly. This writing also provides insights into the production
process of the reflexive documentary program "Story Of Creator's." It aims to
assist program directors who wish to create reflexive documentaries by
utilizing Rabiger's directing techniques. It is hoped that the results of this
writing will provide a better understanding of the role of a program director

Dokumenter menjadi salah satu pilihan bagi pembuat karya untuk
menyampaikan fakta secara terstruktur. Salah satunya yaitu program
dokumenter refleksif "Story Of Creator's". Untuk mengarahkan program dan
menjadi partisipator penceritaan penulis menjadi program director. Penulisan
ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui teknik directing yang digunakan program
director dalam mengarahkan produksi program dokumenter refleksif "Story Of
Creator's". Penulisan ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa
observasi dan studi pustaka guna mengetahui tentang bagaimana mengarahkan
produksi dokumenter refleksif yang dibuat oleh program director. Raharjo &
Anisti (2018) menyatakan bahwa program director adalah orang yang
memiliki andil lebih dalam set lokasi shooting dan juga dalam proses pra
produksi hingga pasca produksi. Dalam program dokumenter refleksif “Story
Of Creator’s” penulis menggunakan teknik directing menurut Michael
Rabiger agar program yang penulis buat dapat berjalan dengan baik. Penulisan
ini juga memberikan wawasan tentang proses produksi program dokumenter
refleksif "Story Of Creator’s”. Penulisan ini dapat membantu program
director yang ingin membuat dokumenter refleksif, dengan memakai teknik
directing dari Rabiger. Diharapkan hasil penulisan ini dapat memberikan
pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang peran program director dalam pengarahan
program dokumenter refleksif.
