PERAN ART DIRECTOR PADA SETTING PROPERTI MENGGUNAKAN KOMPOSISI ASYMMETRICAL BALANCE DALAM PROGRAM VARIETY SHOW

ABSTRACT
Variety Show is a television program format that has entertainment elements and is designed to entertain the audience in an interesting way. In television broadcast production, the role of an art director is very important to ensure smooth production through directing visual concepts, color selection, layout, and other visual elements to match the message to be conveyed and the intended target audience. The author wants to examine the audience's perceptions and perspectives on the role of the art director in property arrangement using asymmetrical balance composition in variety show programs. The purpose of writing this work is to provide readers with an understanding of the application of asymmetrical balance composition in variety show programs. This writing uses literature study and observation methods supported by literature on asymmetrical balance composition. In this writing, the writer is fully responsible for the arrangement of properties using asymmetrical balance composition in variety show programs in accordance with the title raised.

ABSTRAK
Variety Show adalah sebuah format program televisi yang memiliki unsur hiburan dan dirancang untuk menghibur audiens dengan cara yang menarik. Dalam produksi siaran televisi, peran seorang art director sangatlah penting untuk memastikan kelancaran produksi melalui pengarahaan konsep visual, pemilihan warna, tata letak, serta elemen visual lainnya agar sesuai dengan pesan yang ingin disampaikan dan target audiens yang dituju. Penulis ingin mengkaji persepsi dan perspektif audiens mengenai peran art director dalam pengaturan properti menggunakan komposisi keseimbangan asimetris (asymmetrical balance) dalam program variety show. Tujuan dari penulisan karya ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada pembaca mengenai penerapan komposisi keseimbangan asimetris dalam program variety show. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dan observasi yang didukung oleh literatur tentang komposisi keseimbangan asimetris. Dalam penulisan ini, penulis bertanggung jawab penuh atas pengaturan properti dengan menggunakan komposisi keseimbangan asimetris dalam program variety show sesuai dengan judul yang diangkat.
