Eksplorasi Teknik Pewarnaan Sun Print Cyanotype Untuk Pembuatan Busana Kerja Wanita Di UMKM Altplus

Altplus is an MSME that operates in the field of photography and exhibitions,
especially the sun print cyanotype technique. As the workshop progressed, Altplus
had problems including wanting to innovate in introducing sun print cyanotype
through the fashion sector because many of their workshop participants wanted the
use value of the sun print cyanotype technique. This research aims to apply the sun
print cyanotype dyeing technique on fabric to making women's work clothes using
the cyanotype dyeing technique at Altplus UMKM. This research method is based
on qualitative exploration using Hasso Plattner's Design Thinking approach which
consists of empathize, define, ideate, prototype stages 1 and 2, as well as test stages
1 and 2. The results of the exploration of the sun print cyanotype coloring technique
have the potential to be a new breakthrough in the field fashion and photography.
The final product of this research is a high fidelity prototype in the form of 3 sets of
work clothes for women aged 22-28 years using the sun print cyanotype exploration
technique which was made based on the needs of the target user. From the results
of the exploration of the sun print cyanotype coloring technique, it can be concluded
that the sun print cyanotype coloring technique can be used as a workwear
collection for women aged 22-28 years with a feminine casual style and smart
casual look.

Altplus merupakan UMKM yang bergerak dibidang seni fotografi dan pameran,
yang biasanya diimplementasikan pada kertas foto dan Atplus ingin berinovasi
teknik sun print cyanotype dijadikan pewarna dalam busana kerja wanita, Altplus
memiliki masalah diantaranya ingin berinovasi mengenalkan sun print cyanotype
melalui bidang fashion karena banyak peserta lokakarya mereka yang
menginginkan nilai pakai pada teknik sun print cyanotype. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk menerapkan teknik pewarnaan sun print cyanotype pada kain sampai dengan
pembuatan busana kerja wanita menggunakan teknik pewarnaan sun print
cyanotype di UMKM Altplus. Busana kerja adalah busana yang dikenakan pada
saat bekerja sesuai dengan pekerjaan masing-masing. Kriteria busana kerja wanita
ialah busana yang semi profesional, sopan, dan rapi. Metode penelitian ini
berdasarkan eksplorasi kualitatif dengan melakukan pendekatan Design Thinking
Hasso Plattner yang terdiri dari empathize, define, ideate, prototype tahap 1 dan 2,
serta test tahap 1 dan 2. Hasil dari eksplorasi teknik pewarnaan sun print cyanotype
berpotensi untuk menjadi terobosan baru dalam bidang fashion maupun fotografi.
Produk akhir penelitian ini ialah high fidelity prototype berupa 3 set busana kerja
wanita berusia 22-28 tahun menggunakan teknik eksplorasi sun print cyanotype
yang dibuat berdasarkan dengan kebutuhan target user. Dari hasil eksplorasi teknik
pewarnaan sun print cyanotype ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik pewarnaan sun
print cyanotype dapat dijadikan koleksi busana kerja wanita berusia 22-28 tahun
dengan style feminine casual dan look smart casual.
