LAPORAN TUGAS AKHIR PERANCANGAN DESAIN SAMPUL DAN TATA LETAK NOVEL “RASA BITA”

“Rasa Bita” is a short story script in the form of a novel with a fiction theme. This design process is a form of visualization of the script that comes from the story writer. The observation technique carried out in this final project is by conducting online research through several websites. The author conducted a literature study in July 2022 with the aim of finding information about literary works from several book covers and related illustrations. The alternative cover design will be chosen by the good team, the scriptwriter, the script editor and the layout designer of the “Rasa Bita” script. based on the results of the discussion in this final project, the author can conclude that in the process of designing the cover and layout is needed in compiling the book. The existence of a book cover design, serves as the identity of the book and makes the book more attractive than before.

“Rasa Bita” adalah sebuah naskah cerita pendek berbentuk novel yang bertemakan fiksi, Proses perancangan ini adalah wujud visualisasi dari naskah yang berasal dari cerita penulis. Tenik observasi yang dilakukan dalam karya tugas akhir ini, dengan melakukan riset secara Online melalui beberapa website. Penulis melakukan studi pustaka pada bulan Juli 2022 dengan tujuan mencari informasi seputar karya sastra dari beberapa sampul buku serta ilustrasi yang terkait. Desain sampul alternatif nantinya akan dipilih oleh tim baik, Penulis naskah penyunting naskah dan penataletakkan naskah “Rasa Bita”. berdasarkan dari hasil pembahasan dalam tugas akhir ini, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa dalam proses perancangan desain sampul dan tata letak sangat dibutuhkan dalam menyusun buku. Adanya perancangan desain sampul buku, berfungsi sebagai identitas buku dan membuat buku menjadi lebih menarik dari sebelumnya.
