Abstract

The work environment can play an important role in employee performance. Employee performance itself can be influenced by several factors, such as employee relations and a comfortable work environment. The purpose of this research was to find out whether there is an influence of the work environment on employee performance in five star hotels in Jakarta. The population in this study amounted to 37 respondents. The data collection technique used was using the Google form questionnaire. This research method is descriptive statistical analysis with a quantitative approach. The methods used are validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis, mean test, normality test, and rank Spearman correlation test. The results of this study indicate that the variables asked are valid, the work environment greatly influences employee performance and can be said to have a significant relationship between variables. The correlation number is also high, which means that the relationship between the variables is said to be perfect. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted, because there is a significant relationship between work environment and performance.

Lingkungan kerja dapat berperan penting bagi kinerja karyawan. Kinerja karyawan sendiri dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti hubungan karyawan dan dengan lingkungan kerja yang nyaman. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di hotel bintang lima di Jakarta Selatan. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 37 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan kuisoner google form. Metode penelitian ini analisis statistik deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji realibilitas, analisis statistik deskriptif, uji mean, uji normalitas, dan uji korelasi rank spearman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel yang ditanyakan adalah valid, lingkungan kerja sangat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dan dapat dikatakan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan antar variabel. Angka korelasi juga tinggi yang berarti hubungan antara variabel dikatakan sempurana Dapat disimpulkan H0 ditolak, H1 diterima, karena ada hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan kerja dan kinerjanya.
