PERAN PROGRAM DIRECTOR DALAM PEMBUATAN MAGAZINE TELEVISI TAPPING “KEMANA LAGI HOLIDAY”

Currently, the media is a source of information and entertainment for the public. Especially television which can reach various circles which contains information and entertainment and is a necessity for most people. There are so many choices of information and entertainment shows with various presentations to attract the public. One of the programs that can be selected is magazine. Therefore, the author chose to create a magazine program that provides information and entertainment so that the public can not only be entertained but also gain knowledge in the form of information about the places that will be visited by the program “Kemana Lagi Holiday”. The program director in the process of making magazine events is in charge of preparing technical matters during pre- production and then leading and directing during production and is responsible for the visuals that will be produced in post-production. The role of a program director is very important because it determines whether the final result can meet expectations both in terms of aesthetics and the benefits of the work.

Saat ini media yang menjadi sumber informasi dan hiburan bagi masyarakat. Terutama televisi yang dapat menjangkau berbagai kalangan yang berisikan informasi dan hiburan serta menjadi kebutuhan bagi sebagian besar masyarakat. Banyak sekali pilihan tayangan informasi dan hiburan dengan berbagai penyajian untuk menarik masyarakat. Salah satu program yang dapat dipilih ialah magazine. Maka dari itu penulis memilih membuat program magazine yang menyajikan informasi dan hiburan agar masyarakat tidak hanya dapat terhibur namun juga mendapat ilmu berupa informasi mengenai tempat-tempat yang akan dikunjungi oleh program acara “Kemana Lagi Holiday”. Program director dalam proses pembuatan acara magazine bertugas mempersiapkan hal teknis ketika pra-produksi lalu memimpin dan mengarahkan ketika produksi serta bertanggung jawab atas visual yang akan dihasilkan pada pasca produksi. Peran seorang program director sangat penting karena menentukan apakah hasil akhir dapat sesuai ekspektasi baik dari segi estetika maupun manfaat karya.
