Ekplorasi Motif Batik Depok Gong si Bolong Pada Busana Pesta Untuk Wanita Pendek Gemuk (Studi Kasus : Batik Puri Ambary)

Batik Puri Ambary is an UMKM in Depok which has problems regarding short fat
customers who have difficulty finding party clothes for short fat women. The
problem of this research is how to make and place the Gong si Bolong batik motif
typical of Depok vertically to design party batik clothing for short and fat body sizes
(height less than 154 cm and weight more than 55 kg). The aim is to make party
clothes for short, fat women with an exploration of the gong si bolong motif aged
30-35 years. Exploratory qualitative research method using Hasso Platner's design
thinking theory approach, through the Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and
Test stages. Data obtained through observation, interviews, literature studies and
questionnaires. The results of this research include motif stylization, sample
exploration and stamp making, measuring the bodies of short, fat women, making
patterns and making party clothes for women aged 30-35 years.

Batik Puri Ambary adalah UMKM di Depok yang memiliki permasalahan
mengenai pelanggan bertubuh pendek gemuk yang kesulitan dalam mencari busana
pesta untuk wanita pendek gemuk. Masalah peneltian ini cara membuat dan
meletakkan motif batik Gong si Bolong khas Depok secara vertical merancang
busana batik pesta ukuran tubuh pendek gemuk (tinggi kurang dari 154 cm dan
berat badan lebih dari 55kg). Tujuan membuat busana pesta wanita pendek gemuk
dengan eksplorasi motif gong si bolong usia 30-35 tahun. Metode penelitian
kualitatif eksploratif dengan pendekatan design thingking teori Hasso Platner,
melalui tahap Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype dan Test. Data yang diperoleh
melalui observasi, wawancara, studi literatur dan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian ini
melalui stialasi motif, eksplorasi sample dan pembuatan cap, mengukur tubuh
wanita pendek gemuk, membuat pola dan membuat busana pesta wanita dengan
umur 30-35 tahun.
