EFEKTIVITAS SISTEM PENJADWALAN PRODUKSI CETAK UNTUK ORDER BUKU ASESMEN BAHASA INGGRIS DI PT YUDHISTIRA GHALIA INDONESIA

Scheduling planning is made to determine the start time and end time of print production activities, so that the order deadline time given by the client can be fulfilled according to demand. The purpose of writing this Final Project is to determine the role of PPC in the print production scheduling system, to determine the effectiveness of the production schedule for book printing orders with a predetermined time and to find out the problems that hinder the scheduling system. The method of data collection is through observation, literature study, and interviews. It can be concluded from the results of data collection at PT Yudhistira Ghalia Indonesia that the role of PPC in production scheduling must follow the established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Based on the observations of the English Assessment book, it is known that the total ideal print time is 333 minutes, different from the planning time of the PPC which is 528 minutes and the realization time of the printing process is 633 minutes, so the more effective time to use is the ideal time. During the scheduling process, there are problems that occur such as time mismatches in print production, problematic printing machine conditions, and lack of availability of raw materials, which can be minimized by coordinating with the relevant departments.

Perencanaan penjadwalan dibuat untuk menentukan waktu mulai dan waktu selesai kegiatan produksi cetak, agar waktu deadline order yang diberikan oleh client dapat terpenuhi sesuai dengan permintaan. Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran PPC dalam sistem penjadwalan produksi cetak, mengetahui efektivitas jadwal produksi order cetak buku dengan waktu yang telah di tentukan dan mengetahui permasalahan yang menghambat sistem penjadwalan. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu melalui observasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara. Dapat disimpulkan dari hasil pengumpulan data di PT Yudhistira Ghalia Indonesia bahwa peran PPC pada penjadwalan produksi harus mengikuti Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi buku Asesmen Bahasa Inggris diketahui hasil total waktu cetak ideal yaitu 333 menit berbeda jika dibandingkan dengan waktu perencanaan dari PPC yaitu 528 menit dan waktu realisasi proses cetaknya yaitu 633 menit, maka waktu yang lebih efektif digunakan adalah waktu ideal. Pada saat melakukan proses penjadwalan terdapat masalah yang terjadi seperti ketidaksesuaian waktu pada produksi cetak, kondisi mesin cetak bermasalah, dan kurangnya kesediaan bahan baku dapat di minimalisir dengan cara berkoordinasi dengan bagian-bagian yang bersangkutan.
