IMPLEMENTASI MOTIF BURUNG BLEKOK SRONDOL BATIK SEMARANG PADA PEMBUATAN BUSANA READY TO WEAR

Batik Arjuna is a micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) in Djadhoel Village, Semarang. One of the fabrics produced by Batik Arjuna is the Blekok Srondol Bird motif. This motif was produced but failed to sell. Batik Arjuna also only produces cloth, does not yet have derivative clothing products, so Batik Arjuna needs ready-to-wear clothing to add to its collection. This research aims to innovate batik cloth with the Blekok Srondol Bird motif which has long been discontinued and create a ready-to-wear fashion collection. This writing uses the Hasso Platner Stanford Design Thinking Model approach. The results of this writing are 3 selected designs which were transformed into ready-to-wear clothing prototypes using Semarang batik with detailed Blekok Srondol Bird motifs. This clothing is aimed at working women aged 28-33 years in Semarang City. The fashion prototype resulting from this design concept becomes the development of a new product that can be promoted as well as introduce the Blekok Srondol Bird.

Batik Arjuna merupakan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) yang ada di Kampung Djadhoel Semarang. Salah satu kain yang diproduksi oleh Batik Arjuna adalah motif Burung Blekok Srondol. Motif ini pernah diproduksi namum gagal penjualan. Batik Arjuna juga hanya memproduksi kain, belum memliki produk turunan busana, sehingga Batik Arjuna membutuhkan busana ready to wear untuk menambah koleksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginovatif kain batik bermotif Burung Blekok Srondol yang sudah lama tidak diproduksi lagi dan membuat koleksi busana ready to wear. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode pendekatan Hasso Platner Stanford Design Thinking Model. Hasil Penulisan ini yaitu 3 desain terpilih yang diwujudkan menjadi prototype busana ready to wear dengan batik Semarang dengan detail motif Burung Blekok Srondol. Busana ini ditujukan bagi wanita pekerja usia 28-33 tahun di Kota Semarang. Prototype busana hasil konsep rancangan desain ini menjadi pengembangan produk baru yang bisa dipromosikan sekaligus memperkenalkan Burung Blekok Srondol.
