PERANCANGAN KEBAYA ENCIM MENGGUNAKAN MOTIF GONG SI BOLONG DAN MOTIF BELIMBING PADA UMKM CITRA GUNAWAN SUIT

Eksistensi kebaya sebagai busana nasional wanita Indonesia sedang ramai diperbincangkan di berbagai media social Indonesia, hal tersebut disuarakan melalui gerakan ‘’Kebaya Goes to UNESCO’’, media social dan beberapa festival kebudayaan. Bermula dari tren berkain di Indonesia yang dipelopori media digital Swara Gembira dan Komunitas Remaja Nusantara kebaya semakin digemari mudamudi. Salah satu kebaya yang populer saat ini digunakan oleh muda-mudi adalah kebaya encim, Seiring denganperkembangan zaman perlahan kebaya encim mulai mengalami modifikasi dari segi desain, motif, dan material. Metode pada penelitian dengan pengumpulan data studi literatur, wawancara, observasi yang bertujuan untuk mewujudkan produk kebaya encim dengan batik Kota Depok motif Gong Si Bolong dan motif Belimbing yang merupakan motif DNA Citra Gunawan Suit. Penerapan motif Gong Si Bolong dan motif Belimbing sendiri sudah cukup banyak di kenal oleh masyarakat Kota Depok. Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini merupakan menciptakan kebaya encim dengan motif batik Kota Depok dengan gabungan motif Gong Si Bolong dan motif Belimbing. Sehingga dapat memberikan kebaruan produk kebaya kepada mitra yang sebelumnya sudah jenuh dengan produk kebaya yang telah diproduksi.

The existence of the kebaya as the national dress for Indonesian women is being widely discussed on various Indonesian social media, this has been voiced through the "Kebaya Goes to UNESCO" movement, social media and several cultural festivals. Starting from the cloth trend in Indonesia, which was pioneered by the digital media Swara Gembira and the Indonesian Youth Community, kebaya has become increasingly popular among young people. One of the popular kebayas currently worn by young people is the encim kebaya. As time goes by, the encim kebaya slowly begins to undergo modifications in terms of design, motifs and materials. The research method is by collecting data from literature studies, interviews, observations which aims to create encim kebaya products with the Depok City Gong Si Belimbing batik motif which is the DNA motif of the Citra Gunawan Suit. The application of the Gong Si Starfruit motif itself is quite well known by the people of Depok City, but there are still very few applications of the Gong Si Starfruit motif in fashion products. Therefore, the aim of this research is to create the potential for applying textile materials that have been processed using block printing techniques to design encim kebaya fashion products for Citra Gunawan Suit.
