PERANCANGAN GAME 3D PLATFORMER “KEVIN IN TERMINAL CONSOLE” BERGENRE PUZZLE ADVENTURE

This report explores the design of the 3D platformer Game "Kevin in Terminal
Console." The Game's design focuses on enhancing the gaming experience by
integrating command line interface elements, particularly the command line on
Linux. The aim of this research is to create a new gaming experience by designing
a 3D platformer Game in the puzzle adventure genre with the added element of a
command line, which is very rarely found in 3D platformer Games. With this
Game, players will be able to understand how the command line, especially on
Linux, works while playing. Based on the results of a questionnaire distributed to
20 respondents, the feasibility of this Game was found to be 86.4% positive.

Laporan ini mengeksplorasi perancangan Game 3D platformer “Kevin in
Terminal Console”. Perancangan Game ini berfokus pada peningkatan
pengalaman bermain dengan mengintegrasikan elemen command line interface
terutama command line pada Linux. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk
menciptakan pengalaman bermain yang baru dengan merancang Game 3D
platformer bergenre puzzle adventure ditambah dengan unsur command line yang
sangat jarang ditemukan pada Game 3D platformer. Dengan adanya permainan
ini, pemain akan bisa memahami cara kerja command line terutama pada Linux
sambil bermain. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner kepada 20 responden, ditemukan
hasil kelayakan Game ini yaitu sebesar 86.4% total hasil positif.
