PERAN PRODUSER DALAM MENGIMPLEMENTASIKAN RADIO VISUAL PADA PROGRAM LIVE SEQUENCE “GKS SPECIAL EDITION”

Salah satu adaptasi radio dengan adanya kemunculan radio online merupakan konvergensi
antara radio konvensional dan radio digital, yang kemudian membuat radio menambahkan
unsur visual sebagai pendukung audio. Maka bagaimana peran kerja seorang produser
dalam mengimplemetasikan radio visual pada program live sequence GKS Special Edition
ini. Pada laporan tugas akhir ini penulis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif seperti
penjabaran langkah kerja produser. Produser merupakan seseorang yang bertanggungjawab
penuh mulai dari pra produksi hingga pasca produksi. (Syamsul, 2017:50). Peran Produser
pada program ini bertujuan dalam pengimplementasian visual mulai dari framing visual
pada konsep online, penggunnaan kamera pada segmen informasi yang dibawakan penyiar,
sampai visual bahan siaran yang dibutuhkan sebagai pendukung dan adaptasi dalam
program radio sequence.

One of the adaptations of radio with the emergence of online radio is the convergence
between conventional radio and digital radio, which then makes radio add visual elements
as audio support. So how is the work role of a producer in implementing visual radio in
this GKS Special Edition live sequence program. In this final project report, the author
uses a descriptive analysis method such as the description of the producer's work steps. A
producer is someone who is fully responsible from pre-production to post-production.
(Syamsul, 2017: 50). The Producer's role in this program aims to implement visuals
ranging from visual framing on the online concept, the use of cameras in the information
segment presented by the broadcaster, to visual broadcast materials needed as support and
adaptation in the radio program sequence.
